What's causing the paused production?
I believe there is a need to get the held inventory out of the Rouge and its adjacent holding lots and finished and onto transports, there is an alleged shortage of "CHIPS" but the article was talking about ICS F150's, but some here have speculated in other threads it extends to the Lightning as well.

Once they have those older builds completed and shipped out and if any stocks that are low have been replenished, they will be in a good position to focus directly in regular main line production with a high %% rolling straight to the rail cars or after minor finishing touches (bed liners, etc).

A while ago there was speculation the holiday week would be either down time for the crew to rest synchronized summer leave for mostly everyone, OR they are going to focus on a huge FLEET ORDER, I have nothing to back either theory other than knowing that factories are known to do brief leave shut-downs

I hope mine makes it in, it's on the last day of the last week 😬

I thought 698 just meant no spray in bed liner
No, 698 is the grand total of production that week.
Out of that 299 will be bed liner trucks

Ah, ok then I'm not the dead last one. But it'll be interesting to see when the truck actually gets shipped given the backlog off previously built trucks waiting for chips.

I found this info on the Benson Ford Research Center website where you can book tours of the Rouge plant…..https://www.thehenryford.org/visit/ford-rouge-factory-tour/tickets-and-hours

(I added the underline and the bold to the “quoted“ text.)

This listed production shutdown schedule must not apply to the REVC (Rouge Electric Vehicle Center) as the tour map doesn’t appear to include that building, and my Blend Date was on one of the listed dates they are not “scheduled“ to build vehicles 🤔….

From the website:

We will not be building vehicles during daily breaks, shift changes, Sundays, holidays, and during the first week of July. Either way, the tour offers unique experiences with full walking access above the factory assembly area. Please remember the final assembly area is only one part of this five-part tour; all other parts of the tour remain unaffected.

The non-production dates for 2022 are:

  • All Sundays
  • December 24, 2021 – January 2, 2022
  • January 17
  • February 11-12
  • February 14-19
  • February 21- 24
  • April 4 -7
  • April 11-14
  • April 18
  • May 16-19
  • May 30
  • June 3-4
  • June 10-11
  • June 13-16
  • July TBD
  • September 3-5
  • November 24-27
  • December 24, 2022 – January 8, 2023”

Overall...... from blend to delivery date as follows

Ford F-150 Lightning ✅ 6/13 Lightning Build Week Group 1655133880878

In the auto trader study, there is about 5-15 days gap from Built to Delivered, very dependent on locations of delivery

@TaxmanHog Thanks for compiling this information. I played around with the data earlier and selectively checked modules for 5/30 and 6/6 build weeks (if VIN was listed). In my limited check, I didn't really find any builds from those weeks whose modules had "popped." So it's fair to say those of us in this build week will likely be waiting a while before we see "built" status right? I'm sure you're following those weeks closely, particularly since you're in the 6/6 build week.

Yes sir, I am watching these two weeks like a tenacious hawk, LOL
Also seeing slow & steady progress with 5/16 & 5/23.

Hey I'm a 6/13 build week! Howdy 🤠 Just looked up my window sticker. Looks like my Blend date is 6/14 and I'm 120/299 in the spray in liner shop. Guessing it's about time I start planning to pay for this thing
