Just got an update my vehicle is now on CHIP HOLD as well.

How did you get an update? Did they say how long the hold is?

I just reapplied for a loan since mine was expiring and I actually got a better rate. Just hope Ford can actually get my truck to the dealer by the time this expires.

Who did you go with? I’m about to start applying today too.

Ford.com - Sync Support.. a friendly bunch on there, pretty willing to answer questions as best as they can.

I called those people and they are very nice. He said I'm on a chip hold and does not have a time frame of when they may get a new batch of chips.

He said check back in 3 weeks thats when they might get an update. Not very good news if you ask me.

Same confirmed status just now from my dealer. I was a 5/24 blend number 118/470.

"Shows it was produced. Last update was the 2nd of June with “Micro Chip At Plant On Hold”."

So there we are. Just please go put those modules in these trucks as soon as they arrive and ship !

Gosh we SOOO close! Ran out of chips just before us! Also not good to hear that we should check back in 3 weeks for an update. Doesn't sound like the get chips daily by any means. steve

Well, on the bright side, the truck won’t be delayed for bedliner. Sigh…

Uh - I won't be waiting 3 weeks. I figure every 48 hours or so.

3 weeks does likely mean they have chips and they are probably including them again on the assembly line, but it will take them a MUCH longer period of time to visit each truck that doesn't have them and retrofit them.

Can confirm I'm being told the same thing on Ford chat. My dealer shows my car as "Produced" but still no built email. Ford chat said (and I quote):

"Thank you for holding Matt. I am able to see that you vehicle is Produced at Rouge Electric Vehicle Center (revc), MI. However, there is a Microchip Plant hold on your vehicle at this time and there is not an update at this time. Please be sure to check back in within a few days for a possible update and we can provide you with any status updates."​

Will try again on Wednesday.
