I'm going on my 11th day of "awaiting shipment" for a "built" truck to be delivered to middle TN and am starting to lose it . I'm happy that the truck is ostensibly built, but it's been around 6 weeks since the truck rolled off the assembly line!

My heart starts racing every time I see a vehicle transporter on the highway. I've driven past my Ford dealer in case they forgot to update me of delivery status. I've scouted out my local railroad yard to see if they have any Lightnings sitting on their auto transport lot......

Got an update! The OrderTrack App moved from "Awaiting Shipment" to "In Transit" but none of the official Ford trackers updated. I chatted with support and got this response:

"The vehicle has been shipped from the plant via rail. The railcar number Railcar # CTTX690598. The carrier name is Csx Transportation and the current location is Ramp 5M, New Boston, MI. The ETA is 7/2/2022-7/8/2022."

I called the CSX hotline at 1-800-235-2352 and was told that the car departed for Walbridge, OH at 2:12PM and is scheduled to arrive in Nashville on June 19th, 5:45AM. The railroad depot is less than a mile away from the dealership, so maybe we'll get it next week!

My FordPass app still shows "activation pending" and the last time it was denied was on June 7th.

It's kind of pathetic for Ford that a third-party tracker has been the most accurate thus far. This is what all of the tracking pages show at the moment:

As @TaxmanHog predicted, my Ford pages updated to reflect the shipped status. I also got the shipped email at 3:48AM CST on 6/16/22. My window sticker header remains unchanged.

CSX tracker says the truck arrived in Walbridge, OH, at 6:45PM on 6/15/22.

So 12 days from built to shipped? Then shipped time based on transport type?

Built to shipped is going to vary widely depending on modality, destination and how many vehicles are going the same direction.

I suspect that in my case, they were waiting for a full load of vehicles heading to my location before shipment.

I think the invoice date (Under "Special Order") also changed - I think it now reflects the ship date.

Never noticed that before, interesting!!!
Previously it was the date your VIN was assigned a blend day!
Now we have something else to look at for blues clues

After scanning through a bunch of them 20+ where the truck is shipped more than 3/4 are updated to with new style top margin, and the invoice date are all reflecting 06/16/2022 so this is just a revision date not tied to actual shipping.


Scanning several with BUILT status but not shipped, shows the new style as well

Anything prior to BUILT has the old style.

Previously it was the date your VIN was assigned a blend day!
Now we have something else to look at for blues clues

Same for me--my sticker shows the date mine was marked as shipped on the Ford website.
