Ford chat was no help what so ever . trucks after our build date are moving along more then ours. I'm just going to forget about Ford for awhile.

I’m with you. I have already decided to not sell my current EV until I get my Lightning in my driveway. I will just get a loan and pay it off as soon as I sell my car. It will give me time to find a qualified buyer who I feel comfortable selling it, at a much better price than a trade in.Ford chat was no help what so ever . trucks after our build date are moving along more then ours. I don't get the dealers. They are desperate for good used cars to sell. Mine low balled me on my Model 3, $6,000 lower than a wholesaler has offered. They actually have a few used Tesla's on their lot marked up $4k to $6K more than my wholesaler, which tells me they don't want it if they can't make $10K on it. I'm not giving it to them for that. I can let the wholesaler have it and still make more after the tax difference.I’m with you. I have already decided to not sell my current EV until I get my Lightning in my driveway. If I can't keep my current loan rate I will sell my lightning with a large markup and pay the loan off.I’m with you. My take is that Ford learned the chat CSMs were giving out CHIP HOLD status and they shut that down real quick to avoid looking bad from a PR perspective. Here’s my reply from Ford Chat…nothing new
“Thank you for chatting in today, Jan! We are able to confirm the status information for vehicle orders. For the VIN provided the status is shown as In Production with a pending ETA. There are no holds shown with status. The order status of vehicle orders may also be confirmed here: https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking”
My dealer also had "Chip Hold" for my truck in the VVR. Who knows if truth will ever be known. Just ship the dang truck. My take is that Ford learned the chat CSMs were giving out CHIP HOLD status and they shut that down real quick to avoid looking bad from a PR perspective.
This is new from Ford chat, so they're getting even more useless -My dealer also had "Chip Hold" for my truck in the VVR. Who knows if truth will ever be known. Just ship the dang truck.
not only ford chat, i got the "waiting for final release from my dealer", asked what does this mean and they have no idea, they called their area ford rep and he never picked up/called back...so no-one has anything... its like a black hole...This is new from Ford chat, so they're getting even more useless -
Thanks for your patience. At this time I see the status of in production as well. I would suggest at this time contacting your ordering Ford dealership and speaking with either the Sales Rep or Sales Manager to get a more thorough status of the vehicle. Your selling dealership is in the best position to track your vehicle order; as they have been supplied with the required resources and programs to examine the vehicle details for scheduling issues/timing delays.
Me too. Platinum. 1196 lines.I have a Platinum (no max recline) and it is 1196 lines.
That is exactly what I show for my order too. steveI hadn't looked at the Ford order tracker in a few days, and I just noticed that it now shows In Production date as 6/9 instead of my original blend date of 5/25. Is that a normal thing?
My blend of May 27 is now showing "In Production" of June 13. Will my truck arrive before it gets to "Built"?I hadn't looked at the Ford order tracker in a few days, and I just noticed that it now shows In Production date as 6/9 instead of my original blend date of 5/25. Is that a normal thing?
I reached out to my dealer to ask if I could just buy their demo, "blah blah Ford doesn't allow it blah". His way of saying they weren't interested in my proposal.I thought as long as they replaced it in time, all the penalties were off? But I could be remembering wrong and I'm too lazy to look up the details.
