I am now in the same boat as you... been there since yesterday, and still inactive as per United.

Is the facility near by that you are able to take a look at it?

I'm seriously disappointed in my Lightning built and just sitting around for a month and a half.
Thrilled the rest of you are getting yours delivered.

I really don’t understand this great mystery….we Blended on the same date….if I remember correctly, you were ahead of me… Another forum member from my town (different area dealer) from the 5/23 Build Week is also still awaiting shipment . I was certain he would be showing me his truck by now……..

I hope you and others see some movement soon!!!

My guess is the replacement retractable Gearshift for the faulty one detected on the line caused some scratches or cosmetic on R&R.

Try looking at this sites for more details, it's unusual for you to not have a IN PRODUCTION DATE or a BUILT DATE by now as compared to others also blending in 6/11

I am right there with you. Even worse, in order to lock in my rate, I already purchased mine. so my payments might start before the truck even gets here.

I'm seriously thinking about this with all the talk of fed rate hike on the 27th. What happens if the truck shows up damaged or undeliverable? Do you get out of the loan or does insurance have to pay for it?

I had this discussion with my dealer when I got my 8/2-8/8 delivery window, 8/8 being 2 days before my 2nd rate lock expires. He warned me I would own the truck, any shipment-created warts and all!

I next met with my CU Loan Officer…didn’t mention my discussion with my dealer. Our plan is to meet on 7/26 for a status check on the truck. She said the CU might consider a short rate lock extension if the delivery is “pending within a couple days”. Plan B is a third credit run/application renewal to lock another 30 days.

Hopefully, given my truck arrived at the rail yard late last night, they can get it unloaded and trucked 80 miles in the next 21 days…well, in this day of trucking challenges, maybe not…..

Ford has to pay for it, because even though its yours, you haven't taken delivery of it yet. but I think you are still stuck with it (no getting out of the loan now).
