It didn't mention lightning as an option to choose, so I went with F Series, so maybe that means it was the general marketing number. Either way the girl that answered didn't seem to care that I was calling about a lightning.

Have you sought out the help from your regional manager? He can contact the Ford Logistics Team who will be able to provide an update on shipping information now or into the coming weeks. I think you should spell this out very clearly to your dealer when he pushes it up. My rep told me about a situation on a Mach E for his father in law that didn't ever ship. When he contacted the Log Team, they told them that it's completely feel off of their radar. If not for him calling, that vehicle would have sat in the lot indefinitely. It had been about 3 months since the vehicle was built before they called.

Have you sought out the help from your regional manager? He can contact the Ford Logistics Team who will be able to provide an update on shipping information now or into the coming weeks. I think you should spell this out very clearly to your dealer when he pushes it up. My rep told me about a situation on a Mach E for his father in law that didn't ever ship. When he contacted the Log Team, they told them that it's completely feel off of their radar. If not for him calling, that vehicle would have sat in the lot indefinitely. It had been about 3 months since the vehicle was built before they called.
How can that happen? Don't they have databases and spreadsheets with all the VINs? I know we are talking about lots of vehicles, but if every Monday you get a report saying "these have not moved to X status in X days, please investigate" it can't be that many.

How can that happen? Don't they have databases and spreadsheets with all the VINs? I know we are talking about lots of vehicles, but if every Monday you get a report saying "these have not moved to X status in X days, please investigate" it can't be that many.
I couldn't begin to tell you how that happens. Maybe someone accidentally marked it off as shipped or something to that effect. I'm sure the systems take human interaction, so they're always subject to some kind of error.

i asked my dealer Friday to reach out just as you mention.
ask regional guy to contact logistics. Doubt dealer will do that., though he said he would. Think it might take a drive by and meet with a sales manager.

i asked my dealer Friday to reach out just as you mention.
ask regional guy to contact logistics. Doubt dealer will do that., though he said he would. Think it might take a drive by and meet with a sales manager.
If he reached out on Friday, he should have an answer by today. I would give it a couple more days and then have your dealer reach out again to him. At this point, I would try to get his email address directly and email him myself.

I doubt salesman actually contacted regional rep. You know salesman. He’s been telling me to be patient since oneguynick took delivery. Yet they took 4 deliveries in the mean time.

I doubt salesman actually contacted regional rep. You know salesman. He’s been telling me to be patient since oneguynick took delivery. Yet they took 4 deliveries in the mean time.
You shouldn't be asking the salesman, you need to contact the sales manager. I don't know if your salesman would have the regional managers email, your sales manager does. That's how I contacted Regional support the first time.

I hope that means you will be shipping soon. I received my build email on 6/25, shipped on 6/27, and assembly line email on 6/28. Only to find out that my truck didn't actually ship on 6/27, but on 7/13. It just got to the railyard 30 minutes ago.

It sure says it shipped but every time I check w/ Ford the last update had it still in Melvindale MI with no railcar or other info. Hopefully it shows up by the end of the ETA window.

Glad yours is finally, truly moving again.

Could you provide the IN PRODUCTION date for the tracker?

I don’t know where to find that. I got an emails that it was built on 6/8, but, no email stated that. The previous status email was 3/18 saying it was scheduled for production..
