All of the trackers still showing awaiting shipment, but the truck arrived at the dealer this afternoon. I go tomorrow to purchase and drive it off (apparently they did the PDI today?) Wish me luck yall

Not even close! I had 55 days in production and @TaxmanHog sheets showed I wasn't even the longest. Now, there is a thread to get grumpy in, where you might want to post to see if amidoingitrite

After much ado…. She’s mine! I had to bitch until I got a lot of that “required” stuff for free and I’m making them out power running boards on it at *their cost* with no labor charge (whenever they get them in, that is).

So my status popped as shipped. Called my sales person she was able to give me the rail car number. It shipped Canadian national railways. Can’t seem to find a way to track it through them specifically. The rail tracking section does not specify the CNR

It looks like the average is 19 days (but many of the long ones are earlier build dates) and the median is 15 days. For trucks that started build in June or July the average is 15 days and the median is 15 days so things are getting more predictable. I've been in production 18 days now so I guess I'm still in the normal range.

I used to work for an OEM. Typically it was a missing part that would delay a product from being considered 'built'. Sometimes it was a serious quality issue. Sometime it was just because we sorta forgot about one or it didn't get prioritized to get out the door.

My dealer tried to add $1700 to tint the windows, put nitrogen in the tires, and put door trim guards on. They call it the desert protection package here in Arizona. Said it was mandatory. I said no effing thank you I can do that myself. She finally gave in and said she could do it for 700 and I told him I wanted my windows tinted down to 15% and The moon roof with UV protection. They agreed. So we’ll see you when I actually go pick it up when it gets here.

Yep. Only thing I let them do was the bed liner, tint bc I planned on doing those anyway. Everything else was deleted from the bill

I think you may have hit on something here. Some people have been getting their surprise deliveries a few days after "built" status while others (like mine) sit not far away. Maybe its because of the fact that the dealer prioritized their original order. And that explains why many "built" units are just sitting around. I know Taxmanhog has a generalized priority category on his sheet, but it may be worth looking into more detailed priority numbers and seeing how they correlate with actual delivery times.

Nice! Now that you got a good deal from them, gimme a good deal on those running boards i sent you a private message. I'm not in a rush so i get it if you still wanna keep the boards until the dealer gets the power ones in.
