Dear @Ford Motor Company, I didn't expect to be first and I know someone has to be last in a build week, but 68% of orders from build weeks 5/23, 5/30, 6/6 and 6/13 have been delivered. I can sorta understand an order from build week 5/23 or even 5/30 being delivered before me, but it's inexcusable that someone in build week 6/6 or 6/13 has their Lightning and I don't. AND IT SURE AS HELL AIN'T RIGHT THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE IN BUILD WEEK 7/11 WHOSE LIGHTINGS HAVE BEEN DELIVERED. WTF?
On behalf of the 10% of us in build weeks 4/18, 5/2, 5/9 and 5/16 whose Lightnings haven't been delivered, I call bullshit. Interest rates continue to rise, and you've cost many of us thousands of dollars in additional financing costs.

I know how you feel. I haven't been waiting months since "built" like some have, but I've come to the conclusion that delivery is like the lotto we played when we reserved, and I'm done getting upset about it every day. Dealer is no help, customer service vague so not worth it. I'm just happy for everyone that's getting theirs quickly so they don't have to stress like i did. What’s frustrating is seeing others getting delivery early, or later build weeks on the road, all while this is my second delivery window expiring, with ZERO indications it’ll be here anytime soon.
My estimated delivery date was 7/30-8/05 and now it's moved to 8/13-8/19 which is not going to happen since these jackasses have not even shipped the truck. Ironically my dealer just got their mannequin on Thursday August 4th and it's the same exact truck and color I ordered. It seems like anybody with half a brain in the shipping department would have shipped both trucks at the same time. My Production Date was May 9th and they didn't change my status to Build until July 15th. I am really getting sick of this bullshit of being in limbo.Tomorrow is the last day in my delivery window (8/2 to 8/8). Has anyone missed their window? And if so, do they send you an updated date range? Or does the truck just sorta show up?
Is this the first window for delivery? My delivery window changed 4 times and the 4th window was a charm!Tomorrow is the last day in my delivery window (8/2 to 8/8). Has anyone missed their window? And if so, do they send you an updated date range? Or does the truck just sorta show up?
I’m at 4 now, we shall see. I hope it’s soon, but worst case, my model y is still tons of fun to drive.I know how you feel. What I'm doing is I take my stress out mudding and sanding the garage walls. Getting it all fixed up nice and painting it But it's almost like reverse psychology on myself because at times it's overwhelming and I'm like "this truck better not get here before i finish." And it helps until i think of the rate lock expiration date, and then I'm full circle like Dori.
Just FYI, customer service told me they can't escalate your delivery delay problem until you have at least four estimated date changes.
2 more times to go!Is this the first window for delivery? My delivery window changed 4 times and the 4th window was a charm!
I’m at 5 as of this morning and tried to get information and to escalate, and no dice. The agent gave me two very different names (Olive and then Sandra), said in transit but acted like my truck is still at the plant bc of a parts shortage, and wouldn’t provide an experience survey. Told me to contact dealer, who only gives vague answers 24-48 hours later.I’m at 4 now, we shall see. I hope it’s soon, but worst case, my model y is still tons of fun to drive.
Your experience makes me anxious that I'll be waiting a while longer. Mine arrived at a flat yard 20 miles from the auto ramp outside of Jax on 8/6. On 8/9 it was moved to the auto ramp, and unloaded from the autorack on 8/10 (I received a Securialert notification, "Driver Door Opened"). Delivery window was 7/31-8/6, but I got an email on 8/9 updating my delivery range to 8/15-8/21. Also received the assembly line photo on 8/9. Photo was taken on 5/24 and I received the "built" email on 7/16.Mines been at ramp 12 in Jacksonville, FL since 7/28. Dealer “doesn’t know” where it is, Ford chat has been the only transparent source of information for me. They also told me they they can’t see further delivery plans or transport numbers. Basically, it’s in limbo. I’m about 1.5 hours from there, maybe by the end of August? Hopefully?

Also got my off the assembly line pic last week. Pic data shows it was taken 5/21…. No idea why it wasn’t “built“ till over 5 weeks later. And over 5 weeks after that, still no delivery.
