In my daily checking on my account, yesterday I saw there was a change in status. It is no longer in production! This morning I got the email from Ford indicating that my Lightning has been built. It is laughable that it is saying that the anticipated delivery to my dealer is 8/4 - 8/10. Given a blend date of 7/21, I'm thinking it is going to be more like end of August or early September given the amount of time it is taking others' trucks to actually get shipped. Now that I have a theoretical delivery date (as wrong as it might be), I got my dealer to agree to let me get a test drive in their mannequin. So, come Saturday, I'll actually get a little wheel time in one. It's getting real

This update for my F150 from Ford Chat: "I show your F-150 is in transit with an ETA of 08/07/2022." I followed up with my dealer to see what they had. They said: " The status showing on order is that it is located (as of 8/01) @ Rouge Electric Vehicle Center (revc), Mi ETA Aug 16-Aug 22. So that info was last updated Aug 1st. " I'm assuming I'll get it sometime towards the end of the month. I checked the United Road site but I get nothing when searching for my VIN.

I'm 6/13 build week and with Romano as well. Received an original ship date of July 8th-14th. It's still 'on a ramp' in Michigan.

I also received my built email last night with expected delivery between 08/25 & 08/31. Does anyone know how long after the built email it typically takes to get the picture of your truck?

Built 8/5 and estimated delivery to the dealer 8/5-8/11. The ford chat said 8/28 ETA this past Wednesday. Love the consistency

Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle....

I just got a voicemail from my dealership (Romano Ford in Fayetteville, NY) telling me that my Lightning has arrived. I'm so mentally unprepared for this moment given how much longer others' seem to have taken to get delivered (I'm not even 3 weeks past my blend date). I suppose that at some point in the next 24 hours or so, I should be driving home in my new truck? Bananas.

I just did a chat on the Ford.com site and they confirmed my Truck is actually on the way. It is currently in West Chicago Railyard and is expected at the dealer here in Southern CA around 8/26.
