So a video yesterday from the Town & Country guy in AL and he said Atlas Blue will still be available for MY23. I hope he's correct because that is what I wanted. Maybe we'll even find out tomorrow.

Itās funny how car companies have given up on āCOLORFULā colors. Some new 2023 F-150 Lightning colors revealed on Ford's Dealer Connection site:
Avalanche Gray
Azure Gray Metallic
* Area 51 may also be coming - as recently spied on this F-150 Lightning prototype
Thank You! Someone else gets it!Itās funny how car companies have given up on āCOLORFULā colors.
I realize that white, black and grey are currently the most popular color choices, but when you look at that chart of 10 colors there are basically:
4 shades of grey / silver
2 shades of white
2 shades of black (Antimatter Blue looks black in person).
1 (Dark) Red
1 (Dark) Blue
I LOVE COLORFUL cars and trucks, but itās getting harder and harder to find one these days.
Iām a bit biased because I grew up in the 70s where just about every car and truck was colorful. My 2002 Thunderbird was a retro, almost turquoise blue. My 2010 Sport Trac and 2016 F-150 had different color names but were really bright blue.
My 2022 Lightning will be Atlas Blue, but itās not quite as bright as my older ones, but still brighter than the MY23 Azure Blue.
And I'm greatly disappointed because Atlas Blue really is gone. It almost makes me want to to tell them to just deliver it with primer only and I'll take it in for a custom paint job somewhere so I can get something interesting. Of course, with the prices of the '23 model going up there goes the paint money. So a video yesterday from the Town & Country guy in AL and he said Atlas Blue will still be available for MY23. Here are some pics of the 2023 F-150 in the Azure Grey color:So if order banks really open tomorrow, per fordauthority, then we will just have to guess that we like the new blue-ish color? Anyone have any good examples of it?
making me lean to wards stone gray to try and stay under the 80k limit with a lariat.
Seriously, that almost looks like a MA state police vehicle. Oh, andHere are some pics of the 2023 F-150 in the Azure Grey color:

Same. I'm either going to order Avalanche or Azure, personally. Wish there were more options, but it is what it is.Eh - I kinda like it. Wish Lightnings were given 2 tone options like that.
Yeah, I probably would buy Eruption Green if they made it. But they probably figure there's no reason to go crazy with the colors. Almost no one is going to buy or not buy a Lightning because of the paint options. Removing Atlas Blue is a weird choice, though, IMO.The '23 color palette is surprising. Glad I have an atlas blue on order. I'm surprised there's not green option. I would have loved Eruption Green.
https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...-avalanche-gray-azure-gray-code-orange.11802/Anyone know if Avalanche is Metallic or Flat? I'm reading conflicting things online...
I was afraid of that, I'm not a big fan of Flat colors other than white. I think the Gray and Khaki Toyotas look stupid.https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...-avalanche-gray-azure-gray-code-orange.11802/
It SEEMS that the metallics are specifically noted as metallic in that graphic, so I think that Avalanche is non-metallic, along with Area 51, Oxford White, etc.
It's best to try to make changes before you have a VIN. The sooner the better.I was afraid of that, I'm not a big fan of Flat colors other than white. I think the Gray and Khaki Toyotas look stupid.
If I've placed my order do I have until production to change?
