Great Day!! Installed running boards, bed mat, ceramic tint, floor mats and frunk mat. My detail guys are a little mad because they had to clay my truck to get the stupid water spots or whatever it was on my truck. Looks great now.
Went on a short drive of 20 miles when I got home. 2.8 miles per KW at 55 mph in a little rain with a/c set at 68 degrees. I love this truck.
What did you end up with for running boards?

One other thing I done today...
I submitted a misbuilt vehicle report on the tailgate. Window Sticker claims truck to be equipped with a locking tailgate and tailgate assist. Well our pro's do not have either a torsion rod or tailgate dampner. There is no tailgate assist installed. The response was that they are sending the report to the plant engineers for clarification. I should hear back in a week or so.
I noticed that on my sticker as well. Does yours lock?

They seem longer than the lightning ones. Are they rounded and smooth on the bottom?
They are the same length. They are also flat on bottom. I think it was an XLT we took them off of to install the amp research boards. Free is good and the minimalist look is better for the pro.

Free is better any day. Just trying to figure out what was different since Linda Z said the running boards were specifically designed for the lightning. It sounds like it’s just that flat vs rounded bottom.

Hate to break it to you, but your Pro is going to be 0.0002% less efficient than mine.

It does lock. I was expecting to have only the torsion rod and was planning to install the factory shock behind the tail light. I am still confused about why they put that incorrectly on the sticker.

So if it’s on the sticker, what happens? Do they owe it to us? Or is it basically just a misprint?

I honestly don't think it will matter much at all.

That's what we are going to find out. Misprints are not an excuse to limit liability. It is in writing the truck includes tailgate assist. I'll check my invoice and see if it lists it there.

It’s something that fades. I’ve been driving EV for a while, I always know my efficiency number but never really care unless I’m running close to empty. Charging rates matter much more to me

So, will the OEM running boards have lights when put on a Pro? I thought we were waiting on @Ford Senior Master to confirm! Then you go get different boards. ☹

I still plan on seeing if the running board lights connector powers on when the mirror spotlights come on. I don't remember which option gives you the LED spotlights but that is the same power supply as the boards. Mine has the spotlight/puddle lamps.

Yours should straight work if you have tow tech. The power based on the diagram is the same to the control modules. Mine without tow tech will not work, but I’m wondering if I can enable it via programming
