It’ll be annoying because even if your train arrives early, it could sit. I had an unnecessary full day layover in a random town.

Went to dealer to pick up my Lightning and the GM said he had not called me because there was a 'little' problem. My truck is damaged! (In my mind I was thinking maybe it fell off a lift like that Mustang).

But, NO. Somehow it was damaged when Jack Cooper unloaded yesterday. Went to look at it and it has some broken plastic on the back of the passenger mirror and also a few scratches on the mirror. Obviously the driver did it when he backed it off.

Problem is, the driver unloaded, talked to no one and then took off. I think it was him and I do not consider it 'delivered' until my dealer signed off on his receipt, which no one did. This should be a no-brainer as to liability.

But the dealer says he cannot give me the truck until Ford determines who will pay for repair. They have already ordered another mirror (delivery date unknown). I said I would drive it until a new mirror comes in but dealer wants to be sure who pays for it first.

The GM promises to call me back today. I said I would pay for the mirror if they would cover the labor (only until Ford makes Jack Cooper driver fess up).

Cue the Violins at this point. Maybe I should start a New Thread "Listen Ford". where I could get our @Ford Member to help me?

Received my complete my purchase email today. Texted my sale guy and asked if it is has arrived at the dealer yet. Clueless as normal.

You won't want to pay for that mirror once you hear the price! You pay for the labor as it's a half hour job!

If you got tthe email it was delivered. The guy just doesn’t know where it is.
It delivered 4 hours ago according to Ford. I guess it must be lost their overly full lot.

Great Day!! Installed running boards, bed mat, ceramic tint, floor mats and frunk mat. My detail guys are a little mad because they had to clay my truck to get the stupid water spots or whatever it was on my truck. Looks great now.
Went on a short drive of 20 miles when I got home. 2.8 miles per KW at 55 mph in a little rain with a/c set at 68 degrees. I love this truck.

One other thing I done today...
I submitted a misbuilt vehicle report on the tailgate. Window Sticker claims truck to be equipped with a locking tailgate and tailgate assist. Well our pro's do not have either a torsion rod or tailgate dampner. There is no tailgate assist installed. The response was that they are sending the report to the plant engineers for clarification. I should hear back in a week or so.
