Given the number of people complaining about their OEM running board for the Lightning delaminating, I think I'd look for aftermarket....

Seriously though...just buy a high quality aftermarket set, you can pick the ones you think look the best and hopefully there will be enough reviews for you to get an idea of the quality.

Another concern is if you add them to yours it wouldn’t be covered under warranty right? Might wait until ford has a fix and find a pair post repair/replacement.

Seriously though...just buy a high quality aftermarket set, you can pick the ones you think look the best and hopefully there will be enough reviews for you to get an idea of the quality.

To that I say eh. If they’re delaminating, then we Pro owners just get a bigger discount. There’s been several sets available even for free so far. A free delaminating set beats a paid aftermarket set any day.

I agree. I was just looking for a set to put on, since the plastic ones are better than nothing.

There is a set of takeoffs on Facebook from a 2022 ICE F150 . The fellow says he does not have the nuts. Trying to figure out what size the nuts are. Going to the dealer tomorrow to officially purchase my truck so I am going to ask the parts department for the nut size.

It’ll be $15-22 for the set of nuts. You’ll need 12 of them total. Some places list them for $1 or so but that’s per nut. They come 4 in a pack so most places will sell them for $5-6 a pack which is what they’re typically sold as.

W706840-S440 Is the part number.

The F-150L boards are different from the F-150 boards, but they both fit. I installed mine in about 15 minutes by myself, no jacking just on my back on the driveway.
