I've been curious about where our Lightnings are at Ramp 51 getting loaded on to trains and convoys and I think I found them. I see a bunch of F150s and other models awaiting loading as well. Here is the google satellite view. You can zoom in pretty far to make out the color and model. I think I see mine there or at least the same model iced blue silver. If I get Fordpass activated perhaps I'll try to open the Frunk and see some action next time satellite passes over (Actually I better not be there next time satellite takes photos!). Anyone live in the area can do a drone flyover?

The railcar loading seems to be on left and the convoy truckers loading on the right. You can pan and zoom on map to get more detail.

If you scroll directly south of there, you'll see another grid of railcars and what look like cars instead of trucks lined up to be loaded. Is that also Ramp 51? How often are these satellite photos refreshed?

It can be weeks or months depending upon the area. If It's North Korea or Ukraine, probably daily right now. You can tell apart the models I think if you zoom in all the way.

Mini update - while not much is happening wrt my trucks’ status - I was just able to get my activation into pending mode. I’ll take am the small wins at this point!

Yay! My truck just showed up as “Built”, as of 9/9! Looking for a shipping date, and an ETA to dealership.

Found that the Ford site lists my ETA as “9/28 - 10/4”. Hoping sooner, rather than later! Anyone else notice a Ford Finance pre-approval link on that page? When I tap it, it says that they’ve pre-approved financing for my truck, and have sent me an email?

Received the official built email last night, and it lists an ETA of between 10/1 -10/7. @spinnerbait hopefully the 10/7 you received is the tail end of your range.

I've had the email and "certificate" on order status page for a while. They said to talk to dealer when I called Ford finance. I think it was like 4.99% as the best possible rate. Not a good deal. Strange so high as GM and others have really low rates to encourage sales. I guess that is not Fords issue.

I too have had the certificate for some time not sure if i got an email or not. I did notice FMC had a special rate that expires on 3-Oct. I didn't dig too far, but agree that they could be more competitive but they are matching Bank of America and Chase's rates.

On happy news, with a little adjusting, I now have space for "Blue Thunder" if he'd just get here.

Same here. I'm assuming that they actually haven't put the truck on a truck or railcar yet, so it's still at the factory or holding yard (Area 51?)

Date comes from the regular ford account tracker.
