Did the price on the extended range batteries also go up? Part of me recollects that in the survey Ford sent out the price for the extended range was higher than it was listing on the Lightning build web page. Curious whether the new price matches the survey.
I called my dealer a few weeks back, who said that pricing is locked in when you ordered. However, if one reconfigured you'd get the new pricing. Makes me think they expected there would be more price changes during the later waves of '23.

I can't even begin to describe how upsetting this is if Ford applies this price increase to unscheduled orders. Ford really needs to chime in with some clarification before it burns a lot of goodwill from all those projected conquests from other brands.

This might be a programming error. If you build a Pro and don't change anything on the options, the pricing is the same as before. But then REMOVE the optional charger and the price shoots up.

Well something screwy is going on because mine showed the old price and then when you go to configure it, it shows the new price with the same options that I had before. so it’s a lot more money after you configure it for me

My MY23 order is still showing $46,974. If they try to jack up the price after placing my deposit...

Price changes on already ordered vehicles are unlikely. This is all new to most people and Ford is learning to. Tesla has been doing increases randomly for awhile and if your price is set when you order, I imagine that will be pretty normal for everyone else as well.

Worst case I'll lean on Ford's own language provided. PCO they stated at time of order should reflect MY22 pricing, if you jack MSRP up that credit better move with it.

What does this mean for those that already ordered a 23 pro at $46,974 minus $7K private offer?

Can Ford or dealer pull something using this new pricing for 23?
Generally the price is set at the time of order. I assume the private offer discount will still stand.

and a thought on it's own - $7,500 between Pro and XLT seems more sane to me than $12,500

Completely agree.

Unfoetubately, that is actually probably appropriate pricing for the. Pro

WOW.

$15,000 delta from an XLT SR to a Lariat SR?

$22,500 increase from an XLT SR to an XLT ER. Is the extra battery GOLD?

$80,974 for an XLT ER, with cloth seats! That is $1,000 more than my loaded 22 Lariat ER.

I would not buy a MY23 at these prices. I think they are over gauging demand.

I just checked the build and price tool. It's back to the $46,974 MSRP price. This was just a technical glitch on the build and price tool. Everyone should calm down on this one. The $51,974 price that's in this screenshot is the MSRP with the mobile charger, Tow Tech, Max Trailer Tow Package, and Pro Power Onboard added to the Pro. Ford didn't actually increase the base Pro Trim.

Do not have your dealer make any changes to your pro order or you will receive the new pricing

I’ll bet they know exactly what they’re doing. Whether these prices can be sustained through a recession though, is yet to be seen.
