I had a few times where folks walking didnāt hear me behind themā¦ and it felt rude to honk or yellā¦ so I bought an electric trolley bell from EVWest.com and mounted it under the truck behind the drivers front tire in that recessed area behind the running board. I went to radio shack and bought a momentary push switch that I can hit with my foot which I mounted in the drivers kick panel. Works great and makes people smile. Much better than honking at them. It was easy to route the wires up under the truck to the 12 volt battery (not going through the interior of the truck) Wires to the switch went through an existing rubber grommet in the floor of the truck and under the plastic sill plate up to the kick panel which I didnāt need to remove in order to install the switch. I just made sure it was clear behind it and then drilled the correct size hole. I put in an inline fuse right at the battery post connectionā¦ took about 2 hours all in all Including the trip to radio shack.
