I didn't know. I just Googled it and it looks like we are paying taxes both in PCO and trad-in in MD.PCO application pre/post tax varies from state to state.
Just didn't want somebody to assume they'd get $12K off pre-tax based on somebody elses experience only to find themselves in a higher tax bracket.I didn't know. I just Googled it and it looks like we are paying taxes both in PCO and trad-in in MD.
That section is indicating that the customer understands this is an incentive that is deducted from the total price rather than an actual different price being offered. It's important for tax reasons as people are finding out some states tax such incentives and doesn't have anything to do with the dealership keeping it or holding it until they're reimbursed from Ford.English is my second language and I am not sure how to read #2 under A. It seems like dealer still can say you will get your check for $7K when I get something from Ford. How do you guys read it?
There is no remote start button on the Keyfob.without one key can we still "remote start"? what about pre-condition timer?
Thanks. Do you have to have “one key” though? Or all models with the app can remote start? Thats what I meanThere is no remote start button on the Keyfob.
You have to use the FordPass app.

I don’t think the pro has phone as a key. So I am curious if you can still remote start and precondition without it.That's a different fob from my Lariat one. The question is whether non-Lariat/Plats get similar app functions as we do. Does every trim get PAAK?
My response was to a user that has a Pro ordered. That is the Pro key. I believe Lariat/Platinum owners also have a tailgate button. That's a different fob from my Lariat one. The question is whether non-Lariat/Plats get similar app functions as we do. Does every trim get PAAK?
They are paid on the following month (or possibly 2 months out) for price protection on their dealer payment statement. I have seen some dealers practice that they will give the customer a check after receiving payment to ensure that they've received the proper amount of price protection. That may be an alternative to offer, involving a Ford customer service rep or having them call their regional manager may be another option.@Granger Ford @FordVideoGuy I know you both have been very helpful with members here and I have watched videos and statements from you both regarding this situation to help arm myself with information. Is there anything I can pass on to my dealer (that I haven't already tried) or a contact to reach to help me out through this process?
They are basically just saying "everything you're reading about price protection is wrong" and we do it our own way to protect ourselves--despite the fact that everything else I'm reading contradicts them. I don't want to burn bridges with them because I have a beautiful truck on their lot that I'm waiting to take home but their absolute refusal to do things the right way is a bit frustrating.
Sorry, yes, I see how I wrote that was not what I meant to ask.My response was to a user that has a Pro ordered. That is the Pro key. I believe Lariat/Platinum owners also have a tailgate button.
