I had one warning and it’s gone and everything is working fine now. I got it right as I was parking it in the garage. I took it out again and never noticed anything different.
Same here!

My issues started on Saturday, truck is at the dealer. So far one of the battery packs needs to be replaced. They are still diagnosing

My alert went away and cleared from the Ford Pass App. Truck is driving normal. When the alert came up, i was having trouble gently going up my driveway ramp to avoid tapping a fence, was going from drive to reverse and the truck was rolling down the ramp backward while in drive and the alert popped up then. Will monitor to see if it happens again, will not try to recreate issue at this time.

So the truck has been at the dealer for a little over 2 weeks now for the powertrain malfunction/reduced power alert awaiting a part. I received a phone call Tuesday 11/15 from the BEV team that the part was in and I would hear from the service dept at the dealer soon that the truck will be ready. Today I opened the Fordpass app and saw a new alert😞 The app shows shows battery charged at 100% with only 120 miles on an extended range?! And now a High-Voltage battery warning?! I am afraid now. I will visit the dealer for an update
@kWfart I think yours is the only other Powertrain issue that also has the high-voltage battery issue. Did the BEV team just reach out or did you contact them some how? I need to grab @TaxmanHog build sheet and see if our build weeks are close @Ford Motor Company may know. Just went and check both were in same month.

I contacted the BEV team to start a case and it was resolved with a cell being replaced. Since I picked up, I have not had the issue repeated. I was a little nervous to drive it from Fallbrook to Palo Alto a few weeks ago but no issues occurred!

Call Ford Customer relations at +1-800-392-3673. Tell them you have a Lightning and would like to talk to the BEV team to get a case going.

Is it already at the dealer?

Yes, it's at the dealer. Thank you for the phone number! Also noticed the dealer (Ken Grody) has 5 Lightnings on the lot (for sale). That was surprising.

@kWfart Thank you for posting your resolution. Truck went from we'll look at it next week to parts on order.

@Gimme_my_MME Thank you for the info. The customer service is unbelievable. I was pretty upset that this happened (at Christmas), but I can't believe I spoke to a real person and they've already reached out to the dealer.

I'm fully aware I'm a guinea pig :) and if it wasn't Christmas I probably wouldn't have flinched. Appreciate the forum help!

Almost forgot, thanks @hikinbengal for starting this thread (and sorry you had to start it).

Always call Ford first to open a case before taking it to the dealer. They will want your VIN and dealer info, they will review the codes, etc and work with the dealer to get the correct parts out (when they have them to send)

Ford has been very communicative of issue (poor performing cell), part status and just a daily check in. Pretty impressive given Christmas - New Years week.

Well the truck has now been in the shop for 20 days and all I keep being told is the part (cell) is on order with no ETA. Starting to get a little frustrated with @Ford Motor Company and the lack of information about getting a part to the dealership. I’m trying to be patient since I realize the holidays delayed things, but how hard can it be to get an estimated date.

Parts were being prepped and supposed to be going out this week

Hi there. I would like to look into your power loss situation on my end. Can you please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer to get started?
Can you look at mine - 6 months old and undriveable - towed away yesterday: 1FT6W1EVXNWG03691

I know this is an old post, but wanted to share my good experience. I too got the powefaliure alert late on a Thursday, limped home, called Ford emergency support and scheduled free tow to dealer a Friday. I then got a call on Monday it was fixed. Issue was a loose cable on the 12 volt battery (could explain others intermittent issues). I was away, so Ford dealer valet service delivered truck to my home before noon that Monday. I was VERY ready to call Ford BEV support if needed, but maybe dealer support/education is better? Hope this helps someone.
