If I may ask, what is your use case? The only thing I could think of is securing a firearm and I don't carry.

Another use case is keeping a key inside the safe. I run/bike/swim often and don't like keeping my key on me. When I leave the truck I'll sometimes put the key in a faraday bag in the safe and then lock/unlock through the keypad. I also keep my wallet and any other valuables in there when I'm out away from the truck.

I've done this for years with my raptor and it's very convenient not having to worry about loosing or damaging a key.

The bed lighting was simple. You pop out the covers, set up the wiring and lights, and make 3 changes in Forscan. I have zone lighting and they come on with the rear zone or you can turn them on manually in the bed.

The matrix lights are easy to enable just a bit time consuming.

Making these changes in Forscan did impact some of my settings in the truck so you may have to redo a few settings but it's not a big deal.

How was the fit with your bed liner? I had heard about others having fitment issues after a spray in bed liner, and sure enough, I found I had the same. I've seen various suggestions to resolve it. What did you end up doing?

This was a dealer installed bed liner.
It was somewhat in the holes for the boxlink. But really, all I did was use a round Torx screwdriver T-27 (actual screwdriver and not the bit on a driver), found it was the right size and just ran it though each hole to clear it out.
THen used some spray silicone on the bolts and used a T-30 to drive them in a bit by hand, then used an impact to drive it home. It was not a problem.

No issue. Slid right in and up. Locked right in. I have a very thick bedliner. Thicker than most and it isn’t an issue.
my wife’s XLT has the premium LineX liner and it isn’t an issue there either.
These are the Ford OEM plates and cleats. I know some people buy the China knock offs off Amazon, which I understand, but that may be their issue….
