I keep nothing in my frunk. I routinely use the "sub-frunk" for purchased items that shouldn't slide around or fall over. All my "junk" is stored under the rear seat.

Cables extension cords and adapters, mostly. When Ford finally replaces the Tesla Adapter they told me not to use, that will go in there too. Oh, and thank to this thread, I'm moving the straps and bungees to that space too! We are still waiting for the right occasion to use it as a cooler too.

As a winter dweller, I keep emergency use items in there. I don't like to scrape all the snow off the hood so I don't use the frunk as much. Jump pack is inside the truck to stay warm.

I keep a portable EVSE, 14-50 extension cord (which Iā€™ve only used camping, or in the U.P.), kinetic recovery rope and soft shackles in the bed, mounted on BuiltRight bedside panels. Additonal stuff goes back there depending on the trip/season. Behind the back seat Iā€™ve got a first aid kit, and not much else, honestly. The lariat amp and sub back there kinda makes it less useful. I might have to experiment with mounting stuff to the seat back.

I keep the main frunk area empty for groceries/etc, or Iā€™ve got a compressor fridge cooler up there. In the sub-frunk, I have stuff I donā€™t use often, like a hitch, some never-used bungees, some cleaning wipes. For a while I had some extra flip-flops stashed in there, but those are less useful in the winter:)
When Iā€™m towing our travel trailer, Iā€™ll put the chocks, leveling blocks, and tools up in the frunk, so I guess thatā€™s why I also stash a hitch up there.

In my Jeep I found the lower compartment in the rear not useful, as I usually had a bunch of stuff (tools and parts) loaded in the rear, making that area useless. I think I only have extra zip ties under there. I think that habit has carried forward into how I use the frunk in the Lightning.

I also like having the sub-frunk empty enough that I can flip the panel up to use it as a divider/stabilizer without having to shove a bunch of crap around in the truck.

When the seasons change and I start flipping the bedside panels around again, Iā€™ll probably re-evaluate this again.
