Hey All,

Been following this thread for awhile, day 1 reservation holder and price protected Pro order in Avalanche. Blend date was the 13th and have modules and tear tag on the links from above. I'm super excited about being so close to getting the truck, but already not looking forward to dealing with the dealer. Anyone have problems with the tailgate step being removed from their order? My original options were the pro power, tailgate step, and spray in bedliner and when I got access to my window sticker there was no step. I called up my dealer last week and he said they had removed them from several F150s but I haven't seen anyone else have that problem. Also I was told they are most likely going to add $1700 of dealer options that I wont be able to opt out of. I told them I was not interested in that and it was not on my initial order form that I signed so we'll see how that goes. I've been trying to get in touch with a salesperson that Ill be dealing with, however up until this point the only person I've spoken with is the "Technology Specialist" at the dealership. Hoping I can get this figured out before delivery. Anyway, appreciate all of the info you guys have would appreciate any advice.

Alright y'all, Build date was 1/13 and as of this morning I moved into "Built" status with the ETA of 2/10 to 2/16.

Still no email from Ford--I seem to recall some folks getting a picture of their truck coming off the line--is that still a thing?

I got an email the day after my built date popped. No images of the actual truck though

My email has a computer generated image - no actual picture. Maybe the buyers of Platinums get a birth picture.

Yeah, no dealer is gonna be happy having to give the customer a sought after vehicle at the price they ordered at. Luckily Ford is very clear that you are price protected against model year price increases after the date you ordered.

Happy to send you the details I got from my rep at Casco Bay Ford. She confirmed to me in writing that both the private offer (from MY 22 to MY 23) and price protection (against MY 23 price increases) would be applied.

Yeah if you wouldn't mind that would be great. I'm sure I'll have to come at this with everything I got haha. Did you have to have her reach out to a regional manager?

She has been on top of it from the beginning, and confirmed it all in writing to me. It's been a weirdly pleasant experience, which I was not prepared for. Hoping it stays that way once it arrives and I am in the building dealing with the other staff at the dealership.

This is really annoying, but not the first I've heard of dealers trying to make a few bucks adding options. There was a case over on reddit (guy is probably on these boards as well), that had a similar issue. Eventually got his PRO at the right price without the options, but it took a bit of work. Was nice to hear even dealers actively trying to screw people are being set straight by Ford, as long as you're willing to do the legwork of calling them out.

After my Lightning reached "Built" status it was still on a chip hold. I would temper your expectations until it shows shipped. I waited 24 days to go from built to shipped. Not to be a downer by any means but you're one step closer to loving your Lightning.

Congrats guys! My blend date was 1-15 so I'm figuring I will get the same "BUILT" notice in another day or two! My ETA is still 1/24 - 1/30.

I can't wait.

Congratulations. Mine is still in production. Yours went into Production two days ahead of mine so hopefully mine will be out of hold later this week. I wonder if the temporary chip hold has to do with the Pros still having heated steering wheels since my window sticker does not show heated steering wheel removal credit.
