Charging at home using a 48A Wallbox, the Wallbox app shows the truck (Pro with the standard battery) charging at 10.5 kW. Same thing charging at a Tesla destination charger (using an adapter of course). Seems like I should be seeing 11.5 kW (240 V, 48 A). I've used the Wallbox with my Tesla, where it will display the actual current and voltage, and it typically charges at the rated 11.5 kW (generally between 238-240 V, 48 A).
This really isn't a problem since I'm never in a hurry when charging at home. I guess I'm just curious if others are seeing the same thing.

Is your voltage at the EVSE close to 240 just like when used with the Tesla? I get 8.9 instead of 9.6 due to a longish run and being farthest from the transformer on my street

Edit: to clarify this is with other EVs that may report total input power

Yeah it’s always at 240, or very close to it, when charging the Tesla. Unfortunately both the Wallbox and Ford apps only display kW, no amps or volts.

What was your state of charge at the time you did this measurement?
Once we get above 90% the rate of charging slows (on my 80 amp FCSP at least)

Started charging at around 60% this time. Charge rate has stayed right at 10.5 kW all the way up to 75% SOC.

So I tried a couple different things:
I started the Tesla charging (it's on a different charger, a 40 A one) and it's charging at 40 A 240 V. Doesn't necessarily mean that the Wallbox is also getting 240 V, but I suspect that it probably is.
Also tried setting the Wallbox output to 40 A. I should be seeing around 9.6 kW, but the app is indicating 8.8. So the ratio of expected power to actual power is about the same at either 40 or 48 amps.

Voltage when current is flowing will be different than when measuring without load. What is the size of wire and approximate length of circuit back to panel?

The wiring is properly sized. The Tesla charging on the Tesla wall unit is showing 240 volts while charging right now. It typically shows the same when charging on the Wallbox. I've never seen the voltage drop below 238 while charging at either charger.

BTW I have 400 amp service here. I've actually had three EVs charging simultaneously before at a combined 120 amps with negligible voltage drop, so I'm fairly confident that the truck is getting the full 240 V, or very close to it.

It's probably the truck. My truck never charges at 19.2kW with my FCSP set to 80 amps. It's closer to 17.5kW. And when I derate it to 54 amps, my Emporia app registers it at 11.6 kW, which is about 48 amps.

Yeah I think it pretty much has to be the truck. Your 17.5 vs. 19.2 is about the same ratio that I'm seeing.

I get 9.6kW every time on my SR MY23 Pro with an Emporia charger at 40a. It might be your specific truck, but it's not all trucks.
