New 2023 Lariat ER and have tried two different home chargers, both under my expectation. 1) Ford mobile plugged into dedicated 50AMP plug (NEMA 14-50) Ford Pass showed 6kW. Calculated from LOG data was really 6.6kW. Expected 7.2kW so was 9% under. 2) Grizzle smart charger plugged into same 50AMP plug. FP showed 8kW rate. Calculated from log data actual was 8.2 kW (14% under). Talked to Grizzle tech support and confirmed their settings and that we should see 9.6kW. This makes me feel like the TRUCK is not achieving max rate.
Has anyone else looked at their home charge rate- what are you getting?
Thanks.

I get 8.4 to 8.8KW/hr from my grizzl-e on a 50A circuit. Charging my XLT SR. That would be typical with some charging loss. 90% of 9.6 = 8.6.

Log data, like FordPass, is inaccurate. Is it 16%, or 16.44%? Is it 74%, or 73.51%?

The Ford Mobile Charger is 30amps. It will produce 7.2kW. With loss from the wall to the truck, you'll end up with your 6.6kW.

Grizzl-E is a 40amp charger, so 9.6kW. A 10% loss is 8.64%.

All chargers lose between the house and the vehicle's battery. You may see up to a 15% loss.

Ford seems to report energy going into the pack rather than into the charge port. I get 8 kW reported from a 40 amp evse.

This was my charging curve from last Tuesday afternoon, I'm running the FCSP at max rating of 80 amps, the truck is call for this much in the second to last minute of the session, at 18.121 KW

In the last minute the pace continues but the session stops before the minute is complete, so the value of 16.308 is pro rata of that last minute.

Using theoretical expectation, I would expect 19.2 KW, I've never seen my Emporia energy monitor record 19.2 KW, but generally see a little over 18+KW since using this unit, it's true that throttling the amp draw at the AC/DC charger/inverter on the truck is real, that averages to about 93.75% of maximum potential. [18/19.2]

The next factor to consider is how much energy is actually stored, net of AC/DC conversion, heat losses and thermal management system account for this, I'm seeing an overall 89% net traction energy stored, the remaining 11% is lost.

I don't look at the miles gained factors because of the games being played in the DTE algorithm, and the assumed added miles becomes totally unrealistic, trying to pin down a percentage of efficiency is a moving target.

Charging in temperatures of 50° to 80 ° up to 90% yields maximum flow, but after 90% the truck definitely kicks the charge rate back substantially and decrementally from 90 to 100%, I've posted charts of what that looks like in other threads.
