Thanks for that information as it gives me confidence that we should receive the 5,000 and 4,000 price protection from the price increases that were put in place since our order date. I don't have anything in writing, but have heard a lot of of reassurance. I'll just keep my fingers crossed. 9k is a lot of money and not getting a clear answer from anyone whether or not I will receive it is very frustrating.

My truck is finally home!

Neither Ford, nor my dealer could tell me when exactly my truck would arrive at the dealer. They both indicated that it was still at the railyard and did not have any holds.

I decided to contact the auto transportation company directly and although they didn't seem to happy that I was contacting them directly, they told me that my truck will arrive this week! I'm just doing everything I can to make sure my truck arrives before April 17th.

FWIW, when I had my weekly call with Lightning Support last week, after much complaining they did send me a $100 gift card for Ford Merchandise. Now I can buy swag for a truck which i feel like I may never get!

Yep, in in the same boat. Built in January but Awaiting Shipment. Some customer reps says I'm on chip hold but my last info update was February 1st,... the day after it was built. The thing that bothers me most is, since January, my trackers eta has moved back 6 days for almost 3 months. That means, every day, my tracker is saying "this week is you delivery week".

I will never order another vehicle from Ford again if the process and communication will be like this.

I asked my dealer Tuesday, how do I know if my truck wasn't one of the three trucks that were destroyed by the fire back in February. He said there is no way to tell and no way to find out.

@Ford Motor Company , Ford needs to get their communications better for their customers. Terrible customer processing.

They won't disclose your personal order status on this public forum.

I'd take a wild guess that your truck like many are trapped behind many later days of production in the holding lot, eventually they will get your truck shipped.

Ford motor Co rep ...if i heard correctly... relayed that only 20% of the held trucks were released. So yeah if that's true probably will be another month or so before some of us see our trucks.

I'm with you in Built/Not Shipped limbo. Although this continues to be an extremely frustrating experience , it is somewhat comforting to hear from others in the same boat. I've had zero information on mine since it came off the line on 2/5

Good observation, TaxmanHog! There's a few things that are odd. You're right, it had BUILT status since January and now IN PRODUCTION. Also, my tracker actually updated to today. It now says 4/14/2023 - 4/20/2023. My ETA said 3/10 - 3/16 for over a month. At least I see some type of movement... even though it's back into production.

Here is something else that may or may not be odd... isn't that icon a picture of shipping crates, or boxes on pallets? It would seem to me that that picture represents shipping or shipped.

Here's one more thing it could be. Maybe my truck was one of the three that were destroyed by the fire and now they're just now getting around to building me another one... at this point, I'll take a fresh brand new one maybe with heated steering wheel this time ha ha!

Yours did the same thing... went from built to in production.

Maybe they're changing our battery packs before delivery.
