I happen to have a 23 Lightning on order that shipped on July 11th. I just downloaded the sticker and the price has not been adjusted.

You can always back out or threaten to if they won't honor the lower price, unless you put up a sizeable deposit, nothing lost by doing that.
I paid a $500 non-refundable deposit which is a nice chunk of change, but nowhere near the $9k I’d be overpaying at this point. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I’m less inclined to buy it now with the price reduction; if Granger can’t or won’t honor the new msrp and I walk, they’d have a vehicle on their lot with essentially an adm, which is something they don’t do, to my knowledge anyway (it’s the main reason I reserved with them and waited almost 2 years to order, that and the positive reviews on this forum).

The sticker isn't going to change after the truck was built. They would have to do a price adjustment at time of sale.

Or you can reorder. There is no more reservation system. Anybody can order now.

Indeed!
I smell a class action law suit brewing. With all the issues owners have been reporting, maybe there is a lemon law way out?
They screwed the 20% who went through with their reservations.
But if owners are happy with their vehicles, hey, it's only money, right? (sarcasm)
They didn't screw 20%, none of the reservation holder who bought a 2022 or a 2023 bought prior to the end of 2022. Especially not the reservation holders that locked in 22 pricing on their 23s. But definitely recent buyer got screwed. I'd be livid

I think now those of us that bought a 2023 Lariat ER at the old price now have a valid justification for applying for the $7,500 tax credit. The tax law states that the MSRP can’t be over $80k but even though I paid over $80k the exact same Lariat with options is now under $80k. How can the IRS argue that the additional price I paid wasn’t just ADM?

It can also be argued that the IRS rules when I bought my truck were still in transition and I believed there was a strong possibility that I would qualify for the tax credit even at the old price. There was the issue whether options like the extended range battery was included in the MSRP. At this point I plan to apply for tax credit and fight for it if I get any resistance from the IRS.

I think I have a lot better chance of getting the tax credit than getting a rebate from Ford. Unless Ford decides to give us a rebate out of the goodness of their heart I don’t think we have a prayer of getting the price difference back. If any of you can think of a good argument that would persuade Ford to give us the rebate I would like to hear it.
That is a good point. I have not seen the paperwork that is supposed to be included by the dealer when you purchase in 2023. Does it state the MSRP at the time of purchase?

I’m sorry, but according to the Consumer Law Group PC out of Richmond, VA (a consumer rights law firm):

”In the absence of fraud, the sale of a vehicle in Virginia is a done deal upon signing the contract, and the vehicle cannot be returned within three days because the consumer has changed his/her mind. The sale is final in the absence of fraud or duress.”

They can be reached at Phone: 804-282-7900.

I have no relationship with them.
That is what NY basically says. I know the dealer/buyer contract in NY says there is no "cooling off" period

Window sticker will get reprinted by the dealer when they receive it.

This has happened to MME orders that arrived after the new price drops in February.

Just make sure the dealer puts the new window sticker on your order before you step foot.

Lots of "ignorant" or "unscrupulous" dealers have left the old sticker on and then tell you that they will discount it just be at the new lower MSRP.......

are dealers obligated to make that adjustment or is it at their discretion?

How many Mach E's had been sold at the higher prices and Ford gave a rebate too? These prices have been in effect now for 8 plus months and for what 15K trucks? I'm not sure Ford is willing to cough up that kind of dough.
On the MME forum, there were quite a lot that purchased at the higher '23 pricing prior to the price drop in February 2023.

They all got a letter from Ford with a check and Ford Pass points (half/half) for the difference.

If Ford can do that goodwill rebate / points for prior purchases on a larger volume MME; the Lightning purchases prior to the price drop should get that as well.

Just a question of when will be the cutoff date prior to the price drop will Ford give a rebate / points....

As I said above in post #145, most dealers are above board and will change out the window stickers upon delivery as they will get invoice credit from Ford for the price drop.

However some are either ignorant or unscrupulous and will intentionally leave the old sticker hoping you won't notice and then charge you the higher price or tell you that they are being nice and give you a "discount" when in reality you should have received the lower MSRP.

I friend just took Delivery Friday of her PRO at the old high price, minus some incentives for price protection ($7K-$9K I think). Her out the door financed amount was $57K. It will still cost her more than the new pricing and on top of it all, she still has to pay reg fees on the super high sticker price. Also her sales tax was based on the super high sticker price. I guess she still gets the $7500 fed. This really sucks for her...... and she has no recourse other than a too bad.... What poor timing. I assume the reduction may drive down book values as well.
