What is the longevity of the matte body wrap? I didn't think wrap lasts more than about 5 years before it needs re-application.

The vinyl wrap itself is from supplier 3M and Ford is offering a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty for the wrap specifically (the truck is painted Agate Black underneath).

The wrap shown in Marques Brownlee video is already showing blemishes on the front. I wonder what exactly is covered.

It could be smart for Ford to start offering factory wraps instead of ceding that revenue to the aftermarket.

A black Platinum with a black interior is certainly not the vehicle to buy for summers in the torrid American Southwest. Everything black will heat up in the sun like crazy, and a really hot interior helps heat the battery underneath. You can feel like Darth Vader driving down the road in your black monster, but otherwise, the vehicle will be toast in a hot, sunny parking lot. Great for the snowy plains of Canada, though, where you want to soak up every ray of light to keep the battery near operating temperature while parked! They ought to offer a lighter-colored version for the sunny, southern U.S. states.

This should have been standard on XLT and up trims.

No argument here, but I would be surprised if these things didn't come to trucks in a software update.

Vince from Ford confirmed BlueCruise 1.2 and walk-away door lock will be OTA'd to 2022 and 2023 in the TFLEV video... However, he didn't happen to confirm the Pro Power On Board with truck off. Do we yet have that confirmation?

Looks like it's still running sync for the '24 in the TFL Video. I wonder if they wrapped the light bar or colored it another way. Is 3M going to be selling those aftermarket?

I'm wondering if that specific truck is really even a 24 or if's just a '23 that's been dressed up for demonstration purposes. They didn't exactly demonstrate any of the new functionality with power on board or walk away lock. The overall look is what they are selling I assume. Many might not be swayed by lack of android automotive. I'm also curious if they've sold 2000 platinums total since launch.
