The average tower around here is pulling a boat/camp trailer from an urban area 50-100 miles away to a boat launch or RV park in and around the coastal bays and ocean front.
The through haulers are rarer and more power, well fuel storage, to them.
Here is a picture of us heading to the beach yesterday. We traveled 125 miles from our house to this EA station in Abington MD. From there it is 136 miles to our campsite near the beach. When we first started towing with the Lightning we went miles off route to get to two additional fast chargers, but as we got more familiar with the truck we were able to eliminate the extra stops and make the trip with just one longer charge stop (about 1 hr to get 93% for the 136 mile leg). It is a nice duration for lunch or dinner made in the camper while we charge. Also, this location has enough room for us to avoid unhitching the camper. The trip costs about $72 round trip (we charge for free at the campsite!) as opposed to $210 in the diesel truck the Lightning replaced.
