Thinking positively, there may be no major issues, but as a precaution they are holding them should anything pop up so that all can be addressed.

Good to hear. That's pretty much what my dealer said as well. I'm trying not to expect too much until I hear an official status change either on the website or when the dealer calls and says that it's been shipped.Called Ford customer service again today, they said still sitting in Lot but now has estimated delivery between Sept 9-15th, hopefully that sticks and it gets out of there before the 14th
There is hope!
Great news! Your 2023 F-150 Lightning XLT SuperCrew has been built. Right now, we are performing some final inspections on your vehicle to get it ready for shipment. While this could add time to your wait, it ensures that we deliver a vehicle that you can depend on.
Is that on the Fordpass App?so close yet so far... hoping it ships soon.
my dealer sent an update. that is from whatever system they use. It also shows the truck is no longer on the abstruse "quality hold."Is that on the Fordpass App?
It is, had mine 3 weeks ago, the amazing part is for less than the price of this truck I can buy a Volvo, they will fly me to Sweden, put me in a hotel, pay for up to two weeks of insurance so I can drive my new vehicle in Europe and then ship it to the US. I can't even get ford to update their customer facing portal to tell me it's built or let alone tell me when the heck it's going to get out on a train! Honestly if it does not get out of the Ford Lot before the strike that might be the route I go here. Will be sad have been looking forward to this truck for such a long time, but at what point does ford put such a bad taste in my mouth that I can't stomach giving that company 80k! These are not cheap vehicles and there customer experience should reflect that at some point. It's an amazing vehicle but reality is in 3 years there will be all kinds of options in this segment, probably with better range.Got my tear tag and it feels…inconsequential.
