Progress! My Fordpass connect was activated last night and it now shows up in my app! I can see that it already has 24 miles on it, so I'm assuming that they are done with QC checks, but who knows. They moved it from one location to a parking lot last night. On Google satellite view it looks like it's full of F-150's. Maybe an overflow lot waiting for convoy?

My tracker online still shows in production though, but it's clearly been built.

Maybe all the trucks in this build week are in the same general status and the driver was nice enough to activate my Fordpass connect on the screen when they moved it.

They all are, just need to update the status' of each truck, too bad they haven't used a "Mass Update" process on the database assuming most of the builds are fine and don't require any last touches (parts, etc) before moving them to the next stage.

Hopefully they are already setting up schedules for trains rolling out of town with full loads of Lightnings heading in all directions of the nation.

How were you able to turn “on” the car in the app? Mine says I have to wait until I take delivery (which I presume is sometime between now and 2025)

Mine used to say that a couple days ago now it lets me try to activate it just hoping somebody at the factory moving the vehicle will hit the activate button

That's my understanding too. I think earlier in this thread, someone posted that someone activated Fordpass connect in their truck too, but was reset later. So I'm not sure how long I'll be able to see my truck through the app, but at least I know it's been built.

Google satellite view is not live. What you see could have been taken anytime in the past few years.

8/14 build week here. 8/15 blend. Share everyone's frustration/ excitement/ impatience. Not sure if others have tried this but I actually called Ford Motor Company at the number listed in the Ford Pass App (800) 336-0486 and spoke with a nice man named Chris. He was able to pretty quickly give me an estimated delivery date of 9/9 -9/15. He said the status was that it was "released to carrier on 8/29 and it's on hold due to battery level." My dad has build week 8/7 and his status was similar: released to carrier on 8/28 and sent offsite and on hold due to "fuel level." I don't know what it looks like to try and charge 1,000 trucks at the same time (or what) but given that my Ford Direct page doesn't show any of this info (still "in production") I'm holding out hope for next week that at minimum these trucks are on trains and trucks and headed ever so closer to our driveways. Stay strong everyone.

Chris implied that the system eta is unreliable. I’m meeting with my dealer rep later to see if their update matches what Chris provided.

How many miles from Dearborn to your dealer in PA?
If under 400 miles, your truck could arrive same day as loaded & released from the plant assuming an early morning loading on a CONVOY run, otherwise, eastern PA, loaded onto a rail car and taking longer to get there.

Definitely a rail car ride, the ETA they are telling you is not realistic until 48 hours AFTER the Shipped date, and subject to revisions if the load is stalled at the regional rail hub's (middle & terminus) then waiting for local convoy leg to the dealership lot. Trust me, you will likely see this projection change.
