What did that cost you?
It was a barter deal. I gave the dealer two matching F150 Lightning Lariat 20” take off rims and they provided the tire matching OEM tire, TPMS, mounting and balancing as well as installing it under the truck. Their policy is to match nearby tire dealers including Tire Rack.

This was a great thread to read through. Good community input on all sorts of subjects. Here's another.

That 16 gallon tank that ICE vehicles have holds 16 gallons gas x 33.41 kWh/gallon = 534.5 kWh of energy. That's a big battery. Hold on ... an ICE vehicle is only about 33% efficient at most, so that 16 gallons only has about 176 kWh of usable energy (the rest of the energy goes out the tail pipe as heat). A 12 gallon ICE tank only has 132 kWhs, does that ring a bell? F150 ER battery size. Gasoline is far more energy dense than batteries but this truck is hitting on all cylinders (yes, intended)!

The most efficient ICE is Toyota and it tops out at about 25%. Most are closer to 20%.

Great read! I put 50K in 24 months on our Mach E. Have 7K 2 months in on the LT. Don’t miss gas stations or dealer service. Pass jacked big wheel gas & diesel blowing through $30-$50 of fuel a day. Not to mention coil packs, plugs, filters, tranny, ps fluid, etc. it’s their $$$. Charge at home, occasional long trips grabbing electrons at EA, CP, Blink, etc. the serious gear heads say “it’s the future”.

my 32,000 + miles in my PRO, since August 23, 2022 would read:

"32,000 miles - What a long, WONDERFUL trip it's been."

and that's pulling a camper more than 1/2 those miles : )

No worries, no problems, and no more 'active air dam' faults, no more 'frunk beeper', no more 'automatic door locking', and adding 'Adaptive Cruise/Lane Centering' and it's Radar device has been a joy.
There is one very 'slight' bump in the road: every now and then, very infrequently though, and with no seemingly 'reason' for it to happen, the truck says "Drive Mode Not Available" when I am in SPORT Mode, which is ALL THE TIME> ... it then defaults back into NORMAL Mode. Sometimes I can immediately change it back, and it works from then on, or sometimes the screen is 'grayed' for a while, not allowing any change. Strange, but it's not any deal breaker.

I also was sidewiped, slightly, back in January. The damages down the passenger bed side is not too noticeable, and while I have the claim money from the at-fault driver's insurance, I have not been able to get a single body shop to schedule the truck for repairs, to this day. Oh well. The money is in my account until then, if ever.

FUN! I'm also enjoying the relatively 'stealthy' aspect of this truck, as most folks would never look twice.

Are the body shops too busy, or is the issue that it is an electric truck?
