today while I checked my dealer new lightning delivery ; every truck were on GoodYear Territory HT tires ( it's a way better tire then the General grabber)

anyone knows if it just a batch or it's become the new factory "road" tire ?

I toy with local dealerships if they show a similar truck to my order on their lot. Found an XLT 311A SR, but it has onboard power +$1,200. I said take that off the price and we’ll talk. They actually did, but sent me this quote where they added $3,400 in dealer installed BS plus a 7.99% loan.

Man, Tom Petty was right, the waiting is the hardest part. When I finally shipped I was so excited, only for it to move a scant 200 miles or so before freezing for a week (and counting) in Blue Island. The railcar number Ford chat begrudgingly shared has proven to be worthless as despite some, albeit minimal, movement, it doesn’t have an update on the 800 number since late August and thinks it’s in Montreal.

This process has taught me a lot about my patience levels……they’re very low, but it’s really not the length of time that’s an annoyance, it’s the difficulty in getting any sort of information at all, from anyone (that and seeing cars to nearby areas get there in like 7-10 days from build).

you’re seemingly well ahead of many of us 9/25’s. Once I see mine is “shipped”, I’ll resist temptation to do the choo-choo chasing some of y’all are into. Now THAT sounds like pure misery.

Absolute best thing thing for your mental heath is to assume you won’t see it until spring, forget about it and be pleasantly surprised when it arrives in December.

Yep. My sparky is installing my home charger today. One day soon I’ll be fueling my truck at home from power generated by the sun hitting my roof. Kinda mind-blowing…

The torturous thing about this is I keep finding comparable at semi-nearby dealers but they’re all rocking major dealer markups, and as impatient as I am, I hate getting taken even more.
