Obviously it [Lariat ER] hasn't been 'in production' for two months (?!). And my dealer says that a 'ping' indicated that the [produced] truck was sitting in a parking lot by a railyard. I've tried calling Ford, no insight.
Any thoughts?

It's indeed possible, I've witnessed a couple orders in recent weeks suddenly appearing in Final Preparation stage when last observed
In Production", your salesman may be telling you the truth, but also this is an issue with several hundred trucks built in this time span with defective windshield heaters, a few of those trucks reached the dealer lot and can not be sold until a properly built part is sent to the service tech to be installed.

Your and several other trucks that are still stuck in IP might be intentionally held at the Rouge waiting for these parts as well, I don't think the CSP/RECALL search engine works reliably on trucks not yet marked BUILT so searching this link with your vin might not show conclusively what if any problem is affecting your build.

Welcome, it may take admin a few days to release any new records inputs.

BTW, I have asked that the input form be updated to include MY24 & adding the LFP battery option, which reminds me we also have the new FLASH model to add to that pick list
