Streaming kits _ (Magic Box)

anybody have any luck with the MAGICBOX style streaming kit sold on Amazon?
I tried 2 different ones so far with no luck. I am having trouble getting the HULU app ( netflix, disney+, youtube all work) to accept my log in information on both kits, even after triple checking the information is accurate on other devices.
If you have a working device, let me know which one is working for you.

That does look rather interesting.
Would be a huge upgrade to the ”Entertainment” options available on the Sync 4 to date.
Keep us updated if manage to get this to work.

This website has tons of reviews of these units.
They all seem to have pros/cons of somekind. There doesn't seem to be an ideal unit.

I'm tempted to buy a used android phone and just root it and install the software i want for this purpose.

I've had good luck with the CarLink adapters. I think the secret is you need to subscribe to the ATT hotspot and connect the Carlink adapter to that wifi source. It streams any of the video apps I have loaded. I primarily use it to stream Sirius XM since the satellite version doesn't work here. (I just keep my phone in my pocket.)

I've been using this and it has been flawless in my truck. Initially I had some challenges but then they sent me an update (6 months ago) and it's been solid since. No issues for me.

I've used CarLinKit for over a year now and it's perfect. The ATT hot spot from the truck is an absolute must as someone said earlier. It has better mobile antennas than anything available/usable as a data connection for magic box devices, including internal. My kids wouldn't even know what to do if they couldn't watch Disney+ and Netflix.

I just got the MAGICBOX 2.0 for my F150 Lightning Lariat. Does your MAGICBOX display over the whole screen in your Lightning Lariat?

Yes I still have the kit installed. I have not used it since it was installed, because the Hulu app did not allow me to log in. No matter how many times I've confirmed my information.
About 2 weeks ago I tried again and it worked!
The screen size does not use 100% of the available space. But it is a full sized image without any distortion

Do you use HULU app with this? That model did NOT work for me either.
