Yes
I don't know how to turn off the heat and A/C with the fan running???
Honestly if you have never looked at the HVAC controls before asking this question, and still haven't looked at them after two pages of replies, nor looked at the manual, I don't know what more you can expect to achieve from this thread. You've been given the answers. You will have to actually go to your truck and do it in order for it to happen.

Well, when I tap the control to open the vent, the temperature control and the fan both turn on. I'm not finding a way to turn off the temperature control without turning off the fan.
I will try turning the temperature control down to the minimum, and then turn off the A/C when it turns itself on. Maybe that's the answer.
Ideally, the truck would have a control that says "vent only" and let me set the fan to off or something else. Apparently, that doesn't exist.
I'm still getting used to the truck's gadgetry.

You're over focusing on the temp, ignore that, just turn off E-Heat and AC, adjust the fan speed manually, open or close the recirc. done and Don't touch the auto button or you unwind all the customized settings

Found it!
Hey, do you know how embarrassing it is to not see something that is obvious to everyone else?
Yeah, it has a heat button that I somehow overlooked.
Now I get it. Sorry for this post. I feel silly now.

No problem, there's likely hundreds more out in the wild who might overlook that rather grand button.

You guys only explained it to me. Can you understand it for me too?

That’s mostly true. The AC will still get activated if the truck thinks it needs to. I wish it didn’t, but it does.

So glad you confirmed my suspicion. I regularly turn off the ac, and have recirculate turned off. Just want a little fresh air without rolling down the windows. However, the ac compressor will still energize randomly, and does so WITHOUT illuminating the ac indicator led.
