Honestly if you have never looked at the HVAC controls before asking this question, and still haven't looked at them after two pages of replies, nor looked at the manual, I don't know what more you can expect to achieve from this thread. You've been given the answers. You will have to actually go to your truck and do it in order for it to happen.I don't know how to turn off the heat and A/C with the fan running???
Is there a button for that? Or is it a matter of minimizing the temperature control?just turn off E-Heat
Inside this link to the full HVAC control paneIs there a button for that? Or is it a matter of minimizing the temperature control?
No problem, there's likely hundreds more out in the wild who might overlook that rather grand button.Found it!
Hey, do you know how embarrassing it is to not see something that is obvious to everyone else?
Yeah, it has a heat button that I somehow overlooked.
Now I get it. Sorry for this post. I feel silly now.
You guys only explained it to me. Can you understand it for me too?Honestly if you have never looked at the HVAC controls before asking this question, and still haven't looked at them after two pages of replies, nor looked at the manual, I don't know what more you can expect to achieve from this thread. So glad you confirmed my suspicion. I regularly turn off the ac, and have recirculate turned off. Just want a little fresh air without rolling down the windows. However, the ac compressor will still energize randomly, and does so WITHOUT illuminating the ac indicator led. That’s mostly true. The AC will still get activated if the truck thinks it needs to. I wish it didn’t, but it does.
