This Saturday morning, as I was preparing for our trip to Indy tomorrow (120 miles) to see the Eclipse on Monday, I started our Lightning, and the passenger rear window immediately rolled down and stayed down! With visions of a windy frosty trip to Indy in my head I drove straight to our Ford dealer (Zeigler Ford) because their service department is open on Saturdays. Jack in service reassured me that they would at least try to get the window back up. 45 minutes later it was completely fixed! They replaced the master control switch on the driver's door.
What would have been days of planning and time off work, and hours of windy and cold driving in a Tesla or a Rivian was pretty much just a blip - under 1 hour from discovery to solved! The common F-150 platform and dealer network really came through!
