Ok. Officially driving to Ames on May 9th. Hoping to have the adapter by then as it will save me an hour each way. They’ve clearly decided to slow roll so will continue to monitor. The April ones went out at end of first week, so hoping the May ones ship a week earlier around 4/25-4/26. Just need them to get about 1500 out that next batch and it should catch me at #2224 (unless they decide to ship to the 8000s!)

They haven't sent all the April reservations yet (including mine), so I wouldn't count on May reservations being shipped before May...

There’s a small number of Aprils left (less than 500). It looks like whatever caused the roughly 300+ #7800 orders to get theirs is why they missed their total April numbers. The question is the size of the next batch ship out. The first public shipment was around 1500 units. Hoping the next will be that size or larger. Just trying to anticipate what is driving the slow rollout. Their predicted ramp is pretty high (1500 April, 8000 May). To hit 8000 in May they’d have to be at 2000 a week. So they either are doing mass inventory build and not shipping until May or some other aspect is impacting delivery. If they are even doing 1000/wk in production during April they’d be sitting on 2000 units now and increasing since they aren’t shipping out, which is why I’m predicting late next week for next drop ship to customers.

Fast charged fire the first time tonight with my a2z. Went well. That being said i do not feel like this is something that i could hand to my wife and have her figure out on her own. The fit andclip mechanism is tight. I hope the ford one is more seamless.

I think it was in an Out of Spec Podcast video where I recall an interview with a Ford rep and they said the planned rollout was 1500 in April and then 10k/month starting in May. On track so far, which is encouraging. I really do not want to use EA ever again. I'm done with their poor...everything.

I'm going out on a limb that you are in the group that got slightly screwed over by the shipping provider. ~300 were shipped incorrectly to some order numbers up in the 7XXX's. Had those gone to next sequential order we would have made it up to about 1300 maybe 1350. We don't have exact numbers, too many gaps in the user provided data, but that is likely the best explanation. You'll be one of the first of the next batch to go out. I'll go out on a limb and say within the next 14 days.

You must be new here…

Logic and order do not apply when it comes to orders with Ford

Well you aren't wrong, but that's a bold statement coming from a member of the 7/11 group. :bandit:

It’s BECAUSE I come from the 7/11 group. We had folks that ordered within minutes and folks who ordered way later. We even had folks like yourself who came close to being honey members!
