Personal Best: 2.5 M/KWH for 185 miles (On slowish roads for most if it)

Ford -> PLEASE SHOW THE ACTUAL AMOUNT OF ENERGY USED AND BEING USED. The info on the dash is awful, I would like to see numbers for the instantaneous energy usage, the total KW used on a trip AND someplace where those could be captured and saved (if that's already there but you need the stupid app then getting them without the stupid app please).

My comute is 30 miles each way. Mostly highway with traffic (max speed is 70mph), my best score was 2.2mi/kwh even on higher temperatures (80f).

I do not accelerate hard and I use only 1 pedal drive. But I could never get a better consumption than this.

My overall is 2.1 mostly interstate driving but, 2.6 for a 128 mile round trip on 55mph back roads.

I can average between 2.9 and 3.2city driving maximum of about 50mph no wind in there and back situation. Add a little wind it may go as low as 2.7 to 2.8.
Jump on the interstate and that goes out the window

I have seen as High as 4.7 but I am generally around 2.1-2.3 for most of my driving. 1.9 to 2.0 on long highway drives.

My morning commute has ~500ft overall drop in elevation, about 30% freeway (I stick to 65mph and light/moderate traffic), the rest city streets (45-50mph). I'll get between 3.2-3.6 in good weather. Going home I get 2.6-2.8, have a pic somewhere that shows 3k miles with an avg of 2.9. My lifetime avg is 2.5 (23k miles with about 25% road trip miles). I'm a little worried about the summer heat baking the battery but in general Tucson has been ideal for the EV use case.
When I lived in Tucson, we had a gen-1 and then gen-2 Prius. Flatland was wonderful for mpg. We regularly got 60 mpg on a tank without even trying. I think our lifetime on the gen-1 was 50 mpg and on the gen-2 it was about 55 mpg. Gen-2 was after the recalibration of mpg estimates the big 3 pushed through to lower the EPA's mpg estimates for hybrids.

Many of these numbers are inaccurate... Using a little simple math I can usually prove that my numbers don't add up. Looking at some of these screenshots I see the same thing. If it makes you feel better go ahead and believe them. I don't.

m/kWh talk aside, I have to think the Lightning would suck for this! I can hear birds chirping, hammers hammering, and all other manner of exterior noise. Which is amazing until I think of how great the hum of the old ICE was for lulling the babies to sleep.

Those were good days that people told me I'd miss and I thought they were crazy at the time. :)

Please educate us. You can use my numbers for your example:

Just out of curiosity, why does it skip from 2.5 to 2.7? And why does it skip from 2.9 to 3.1?

What does Ford have against 2.6 and 3.0?

A couple weeks ago I got 60.2 mi/kW, descending about 8 miles from a mountain pass
Puts a giant smile on my face to know that I'm "filling up" when I come down the mountain.

It'll show a more accurate reading on the "trip" tile from the center screen. No clue why they are different.

This is my personal best :) I'd just topped off the battery at EC in Kamloops, BC, Canada, and was heading north on highway 1.
