Looks like all you 23's are on track to catch up with the 22's hopefully that means the big leap forward will be coming for everyone shortly afterward.

Not everyone...most '23s are ahead of me now.

This update has now been downloading for more than 48 hours. I am assuming that is not normal.

Pretty sure something is wrong. So far haven’t experience any OTA taking anything remotely close to this.

Yeah, I don't think it should take that long. My truck was parked in the drive way for about 30 minutes and it updated during that time. Make sure you manually turn your headlights off, set the parking brake, and lock the doors. Those are the preconditions in the manual and what Ford Support told me to make sure I did when I got out of the truck if I wanted updates to install. Some of them happen while I'm driving, but 2-3 of them waited until I parked in the driveway.

Not sure what this update did, but I’ve gotten two updates since getting this one. I got this on on the 21st, 6.2.0 on the 26th, and just got 6.4.0 today. Hopefully they keep rolling out.

I got the same sequence on 6/19, 6/26 and 6/28.

Hopefully this is the start of a long string of updates.

Yes, I’m not sure what the most current one is, but hopefully we get there soon.

I just got this update today on the second attempt.

According to Ford EV Specialist Text messaging I had a failed attempt on 6/18/24 as well but no indications of an attempt or failure from my end. No mention of the attempt or failure in the vehicle or in Ford Pass app.

TLDR; In spite of all the below, while mucking around with the truck at 5 AM( :D) , I just got a successful update of ECG-24.2.4.9 after my initial truck-reported failure on 6/22/24. Time will tell if I still have a gateway module A software-level problem and DTC U019B:00 comes back.

There are apparently different levels of being screwed up on this update and the module software being replaced. The first attempt for my truck failed on 6/22/24 and I got a notice on my SYNC screen indicating (my interpretation) that Ford needed to do some work to fix the update before there would be a retry. Shortly after getting this update, my LVC SOC precipitously dropped ~40% overnight and my truck entered Battery Saver mode, disabling a number of its functions in the truck and through the FordPass app. That's never happened before (and hasn't happened since).

I had previously complained about a history of "now it works, now it doesn't" with my Home Integration System (HIS) and FCSP with backup power transfer. Seems like truck software and FCSP behavior are both involved in my problems.

https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...y-for-truck-fcsp-bad-behavior-problems.19650/

@Mike G replied to my complaints about the failed ECG update and LVB/Battery Saver Mode problems, perhaps in the context of my history of FCSP/HIS problems, that, based on Ford Special Service Messaging (SSMs) this could well be due to the software level in my gateway module A (GWM) and if so, things wouldn't work properly, including my "Whole Home Backup" system, until that special revised GWM update was received (and he noted that ECG = GWM).

https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/starting-to-get-lvb-12v-warnings.19631/#post-400292

Friday Mike posted that, based on a 6/28/24 Ford SSM, the GWM update needed to cure the GWM software level problem in some trucks has been put off until August 2024, and given Ford's track record, is not guaranteed to arrive for sure even then...

Edit_Update: So, I looked at my DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) using the OBDLink app with an OBDLink MX+ reader. I do have the U019B:00 DTC that's indicative of a gateway module A software-level problem as Mike's posts of Ford SSMs describe. The DTCs have occurred in the last 500 miles driven (since ~3/4/24).

The ABS DTC is a little worrisome but the dash ABS idiot light comes on and goes out every time I start my truck. Could be since I factory reset my truck around 6/3/24, that the DTCs have something to do with turning on my truck before it had fully "healed" from being factory reset. I've cleared the DTCs and will check more frequently to see if they recur.

Just received surprisingly to myself the update of ECG-24.2.4.9 on July 2nd.
Strangely after months of nothing burgers I also received on July 1st the Ford Power-Up 6.1.0. update out of nowhere.
Before that I received on 04/08/24
Ford Power-Up 4.2.3.1. That’s a crazy jump….
Oh I also have not yet been able to get my Battery Monitor Sensor Replacement taken care of yet…. It’s always something..!!
Is there finally some hope coming to us all in the form of OTA updates..!! One can only hope… lol.
