If you're referring to the One Time charge limiter, it's fixed and mostly used for DCFC sessions, you have to use the slider to adjust to your prefered value each session.How do I override the default 90% fast charging limit on the Lightning? I didn't see anything obvious in the owner's manual and searching posts here didn't yield anything meaningful.
During an active charging session, you should be able to adjust it IIRC (not in the truck or at a charging station) there should be adjustment icons {arrows L/R to move the stop point}Thanks for the response, but what slider are you referring to?
Where? What screen? The gauge cluster only shows the current SoC and the Fast Charge rate in the upper right corner. The center screen doesn't expose any options I could find to adjust SoC limit cap.During an active DCFC charging session, you should be able to adjust it IIRC (not in the truck or at a charging station) there should be adjustment icons {arrows L/R to move the stop point}
The truck shows right in the gauge cluster that it will stop charging at 90% when DCFC. I can't find any way to override or change this anywhere. Not in the infotainment system, not in the FordPass app. Or I am too stupid to see it...I'm wondering what you're looking at when you say "limit"? Do you not see the charge limit slider on your app? If you move the slider one way or the other the limit goes up or down. I feel like i'm being overbasic though. What exactly are you talking about?
15" center screen see amended post 2Where? What screen? The gauge cluster only shows the current SoC and the Fast Charge rate in the upper right corner. The center screen doesn't expose any options I could find to adjust SoC limit cap.
I will do this later today and get back to everyone.Next time you plug into the charger, take a screenshot of the front page of your app where it says your truck is charging. I wonder if you're on a unique cocktail of software versions between phone and truck that makes you see different things than most of us see?
