WOW.... What huge gains... Broke 10 thousand shipped... At this rate this thread will be like 500,000 posts... A post for when you ordered, 2-3 extra for the frustration of delays and email posts, some bitching posts to Ford, 2-3 posts for it says shipped and that you got it, glory pictures of you charging at a Tesla station, 2-3 more posts that you bought an a2z or lectron or you have one to sell now or advice that you should have bought one or better yet you are mad that you had to buy one and then all the posts for how to use the other brand adapters then the newer adapter version, then more posts how it's a game changer, then the debates of swapping out the current port for NACS port....Blah blah blah. One day I will be able to say, hey mine shipped, #89xxx. đź«Ł.... And the comments, what do you want a cookie? I had mine for 2 years and I don't even use it and it's for sale on eBay for $20.

Just playing, but I wanted to be a part of the 500,000 post thread... I only charge at home with the overabundance of net meter solar, and when out shopping at free local charge point locations, which always nets what it took to get there and home.

This post is good for gauging how many have been shipped and when one can expect to receive theirs. Yes charging at home is the most practical means, but it will be very convenient having the Tesla network available when I venture out into a road trip.

My order number is 13622 nothing so far. Thought these were going to ship out based on order number. Weird (maybe same as the original reservation process!!)
CANADA ...... black hole of the distribution process.

I just read your post and decided to follow your lead, and wouldn’t you know it, I got a FedEx notification with the same “From” Shipping Address! And like you, nothing from Ford. #14360 scheduled for Monday!!

Now that I will have a Tesla adapter, can someone give guidance or direct me to a thread for a Lightning driver that:.
1. Has not used public charging in close to 2 years (charge at home and work)
2. Will use public charging sparingly-only on rare longer trips

Questions:
1. Does this seem correct? I'm guessing paying a subscription fee is not worth it to me, as I will not recoup the subscription.
2. What Apps should I have on my phone, or should I use what Ford provides in the vehicle to identify the eligible/available Tesla charging locations.

Thanks.

I have had my adapter for a couple of months now but it’s still exciting to read about so many adapter shipments. I’m really looking forward to seeing a bunch of Lightnings all lined up charging at Tesla Superchargers.

Just as a side note, have found the box the adapter comes in to a really handy caring case for the adapter. The box fits nicely into the lower driver door pocket. The box in the door pocket keeps the adapter clean and easily accessible when you need to charge.
