My truck may have received an update and the "control" screen for drive mode is now missing. There have been a couple people that have had this issue but I didn't see a resolution. I did the sync reboot holding the volume and next track button. Also disconnected the battery negative for a min. Neither worked. Software updates shows 6.14 available but not ready. @Ford Motor Company any thoughts here?

6.14 is the latest version to date. I can tell by your center stack screen it has not loaded as of yet. Beyond that I got nothing.

Your system is updating, it has not finished, disconnecting the 12v wasn't a good idea. 12v disconnect is a last resort and unplugging during an update can cause the whole thing to fail.

Other than updates that require downtime, the processes are running in the background and will notify when finished. You will experience bugs and resets during the updates sometimes but they should sort themselves in a few days.

If it happens for an extended period then a trip to the dealer might be necessary.

Truck was valeted before this happened. Might have been in the middle of the update when it happened. I drove the truck and it sat quite a bit before doing the sync reboot and 12v reset. I guess we’ll see or will need a trip to the dealership.

Have you made any FORScan changes? APIM 7D0-02-03 xxxx x*xx xxxx should be the entry that handles the control tab and the wrong value there can remove it. Believe mine was a 4 from the factory

I don’t have FORScan. But maybe it’s time for me to get it.
