A full year of daily experience completely negates your baseless opinion from hundreds of miles away. Sorry, you're wrong.

80mph on I-70. Works quite fine and has never done anything stupid or frightening. I know the curves BC will not work on and my hand is on the wheel before it honks at me. Everyday, twice a day, still alive.

Amazingly no semis have ever cut in front of me. And rarely do cars cut in front of me. It's almost as if you have no clue what you're talking about...
Try it in rush hour on 95 from Stafford to Woodbridge. If you survive, report back.

It starts from a stop on the highway. Yours doesn't?
It was waiting so long to go and was so slow to catch up to speed I gave up using it. It was enough of a gap for two cars to cut if they wanted to and enough that if someone was behind and they honked they would be justified, more importantly my wife would have been able to ask if I was going to go or not.

Yeah, I had the opportunity to try FSD recently, and found myself to be irritated by the experience. I think the systems are different enough to make each other seem counterintuitive when switching between them.
It’s different. My wife likes that BC leaves you with some control to “help out” vs FSD where it is you or it. I prefer FSD because for the most part it does everything everywhere with a few annoying exceptions (school zones, special times for left turns, bad routing choices). I would still like to get the most out of BC that I can and don’t know if it’s user error or just that is how is it.

Especially not on the DC beltway. 3 car lengths? A semi will cut in in front of you.
Hahhhh, Boston traffic, I keep it to 1 bar just to keep lane cutters at bay.

So is the 1 or more car distance a BC setting, or is that how you set the active cruise to use BC in heavy stop and go freeway traffic?

it's related to Adaptive cruise control,
left side if steering wheel,
button with the dashes
