I've had issues with my charging session pausing which requires that I unplug, shut the breaker off, wait 5 minutes, turn the breaker back on, wait 15 minutes, plug in and start all over.
Sometimes it works but other times I have to repeat that process several times before I get the FCSP working properly.
The lights on the FCSP usually goes solid amber on the right most light when this happens.
I've checked all of the connections and they are torqued to spec so I've eliminated that issue.

However, I've had two instances where I've turned the truck on in between one of these reset processes and found that the charging works after doing that. The first time this happened a few weeks ago was because I needed to drive somewhere so I just unplugged and figured I try again when I got back. Remembering that experience, I decided to try it last night after three cycles of failure. I was unplugged and the FCSP had been reset, I turned the truck on for a minute, shut it off, plugged in, and it charged all night and preconditioned for our -11 low temp this morning.

So the question in my mind now is the FCSP creating these charging pauses or is it the truck? I'll have to repeat this process the next time it throws a fault but I wonder if Ford technicians can see any information that would explain which component is causing the issue.

Mine is a 22 with 40,000 miles on it.

Do you use time limitations on your charging scheme, what are they?

I wonder if the BMS logic is "pausing" because of the low temps until your charge and departure windows coincide for just in time charging and battery conditioning to be optimized????

I've never had the pleasure of -11 weather yet.

Reset departure times and charge location and try again.

I have my Preferred Charge Times set to 12am - 12am so that I can charge any time I plug in. Departure is set to 8am so there isn't any overlap. I would guess that 7 out of 10 times I charge with no issues.
I'm most interested in determining if it's possible it's the truck pausing the session rather than the FCSP since a on/off cycle of the truck made a difference twice now.
I'll continue to test this over the next weeks since we're having this cold snap here in Pittsburgh. It did get to -11 this morning and it sucks not having a garage.

I don't know if it will help, but if you want it to charge any time you plug in you could just remove the preferred time. Ford's software is very delicate so eliminating that portion of logic may help.

110% agree, strip the time restriction rules with the [Delete] & [Save]
You will still see the 12am to 12am which indicates "Anytime" on the summary of schemes.
