I think what Ed describes as mushiness is the soft shocks, independent rear suspension and soft rear coil springs. Coming out of my driveway the truck dips and moves up and down comfortably. My teslas will jar your teeth exiting the same area. I'm not complaining. I much actually prefer the Lightning ride over my Teslas. That is probably because I'm an old fart.The mushiness is the tires. Get a stiffer sidewall and it will mostly go away.
