While I do agree that this is a weak spot for the lightning, I don’t quite think that’s where it ends. I have seen multiple videos or talk of people using Foreacan now and apparently the bar comes stock at 10% intensity during the day. While people have turned this to 90% and 100% (in video I posted in this thread) and have mentioned big improvements, I’ve also seen them on the road in the day time with brighter bars too.

that being said, I just bought my brand new lightning 6 days ago and don’t want to mess with it in Forescan either. I believe a lot of others are in the same boat, with good reason.

I just wanted to see if there was other Forescan users on here that have experimented with it. They have a phone app now that is wireless apparently.

Hello, so the official consensus is that the front LED bar can't be adjusted for brightness? I believe that is the case from reading earlier posts, just confirming. Thanks

No...it can NOT be adjusted with a slider button on the display inside the truck...

HOWEVER....

Yes... it can be adjusted but you have to set the intensity level using FORSCAN to adjust (which is super easy).

Here is the mod which has been posted a few times in the Forum:

DRL/Lightbar Brightness Adjustment:

BCM 726-42-01 x2x2 xxxx xxxx
BCM 726-38-01 xxxx 64xx xxxx

Where the "64" in the BCM 726-38-01 adjusts brightness. Use the following values to adjust to the level of brightness you would like.
64 =100%
5A = 90%
4B =75%
32 = 50%
19 = 25%
0A =10%

This has been disproven many times. It refers to the DRL's, not the light bar. You can't adjust it.

There are multiple "Aux" channels in the LDCM(A/B) modules, specifically aux1 and aux2. Since we have seen that the "lightbar" on the headlamp is separate from the bar itself these could be the two auxiliary channels.

There are a variety of Welcome and Farewell settings which seem to be W and F specifically.

I do want to figure out what EZL is, I have to imagine Ford made a mode to show off the matrix lights...

All is good, it's one big lane here and we all want to help. I'd love to find a setting to brighten the light bar (or better yet replace that ugly thing with something aftermarket).

Thanks for the replies, hopefully someone can find if the setting exists within forscan to brighten the light bar.
