Picked up a new Plat from a dealer 5 hours away last night. Upon closer inspection of the truck this morning, I discovered a puncture in the front passenger seat. I immediately reached out to the dealer I got it from and get the standard "we inspected the car before delivery and would have noticed it if it was already there, but this should be covered under warranty so take it to any Ford dealer".

I was a bit underwhelmed by the response of the dealer insinuating that I caused the damage, but o well. Will take to my local dealer and hope it gets resolved.

That said, I'm loving the Lightning.

That’s not gonna be fun to get fixed. New dealer will tell you to kick rocks

That's my worry here. I hope this doesn't become an uphill battle. Time to search for email of the dealer's GM.

The one thing about Covid is my expectations are so low since 2020 that wouldn’t even care as long as the truck was solid.

Had a similar puncture on my drivers seat cover just under the headrest.
It was an order from the factory... I asked for a replacement seat cover. The dealer swapped it out under warranty. Seemed to be a pretty straight forward repair.

I would call Ford direct and make a stink if you can't get it handled locally.

They will fix it.
