No, you wouldn't already have the required cameras if you didn't order the 360 package. For example, your side view mirrors don't have cameras on the underside of them that make up part of the 360 degree view.
Hey @Livnitup, is anyone looking into comparing the canadian / usa module programming differences to find a way to turn on the glare-free high beams?

Really wish we would pass a revision to DOT code for that shit already!

Find me a '21 Canadian Lariat+ VIN and I'll have a look

Edit: I suspect there might be a difference in HCM here:
734-01-02 **xx xxxx xx-- High Beam Handling: 00=Off, 01=Auto-Highbeam Control, 02=Adaptive Driving Beam, 03=Adaptive Driving Beam/Dynamic Bending Combined Hardware

and adding Glarefree Lighting menu item to Sync 4 Settings menu with this in APIM:
7D0-09-03 xx*x xxxx xx--

Edit #2: got a Canadian Lariat 502A VIN and this is default value: HCM 734-01-02 03xx xxxx xx-- & this in APIM: 7D0-09-03 xxCx xxxx xx-- so if you want to experiment then try changing both of these. The Glarefree Sync menu item may not show right away as we've seen with some APIM changes but should eventually.

is there an explanation somewhere of the camera view settings enabled via forscan? I would like to add an option to select the backup camera while in park or drive (stopped or below the limit) without shifting to reverse before pulling out. (use case is ensuring I have disconnected the trailer breakaway cable). I don't see this option from the factory options using the camera hardware button above the screen, perhaps I am overlooking something simple?

Hello @Livnitup I am having issues with my OBD port and wondering if there is a setting in Forscan that can help. Here is the issue: I have the controller for my AMP power steps plugged into my OBD port. It will work fine, but intermittently stop working after truck has been running or idling for a while (either my generator is working or we are sitting in truck for extended periods). If I unplug OBD connector for the powersteps and reconnect, it will immediately start working again for a while till problem repeats.

Already eliminated faulty ground, checked connections, zip tied controller to the port itself to eliminate it shaking loose being a cause, but no effect.

It seems the truck stops communicating with whatever is plugged in to OBD after it has been running for a while. Is there a timeout feature for the OBD port that I can disable via forscan??

EDIT:
Here are the stored DTC's I just pulled via Forscan. I have disabled idle shutoff via forscan and it seems to be throwing a code? I wonder if my OBD losing connection with the AMP module is related to idle shut off somehow? There are also many DTCs for lost communication with trailer brake controller, lighting control module, etc. which surprise me.

So I've finally found some time to start playing with this, I have an ODBLink MX+ Bluetooth adapter, and I can successfully program the APIM, however when trying to change the HCM, I'm getting the error "Service Procedure has been interrupted"

Is this potentially an issue with me running the bluetooth version of the ODBLink? Is the HCM not programmable? I'm running Forscan 2.3.41-beta.

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

EDIT: Looking at the other forum, it appears 2.3.14-beta doesn't have the ability to update the HCM yet, guess I'll wait on that next release. Thanks!

Is there a way to change the logic of the fob for remote start so you don't have to hit the lock button first?

The PCM also contains an auto engine shutoff value so I suspect the "mismatch" is that one is enabled and the other disabled. I'm not sure whether or not that is interfering with your AMP steps or not. The GWM may contain a value to keep the OBDII connection alive longer but I haven't mapped out that module yet.

I haven't seen anything in BCM that would allow that.

OK thank you for your thoughts.

The spreadsheet does not list the PCM auto shut off code needed, will that be added? For now, I have just set the IPC back to default (not disabling the auto shut off) and I will report if that fixes my OBD issue.

Hello again @Livnitup I have a question about activating 360 camera.

My lariat side mirrors has power folding, blis, zone lighting bulbs but no 360 camera. If I get the OEM tow mirrors with the cameras, will I be able to activate 360 camera via forscan as I currently don’t have it? My trucks mirror harness has a second unused connector already which I assume is for the camera?

That harness is for the Active Prep 2.0 sensor that is mounted in the cover shown below. I'm unsure at this point if the 360 cameras could be activated with FORScan but in the last generation F150 it needed the calibration to be performed at the dealership with special mats on the floor for stitching the camera views together into what you see on the screen and I haven't looked into whether or not that's still the case.

I would recommend you pay $22 for 3-day access to the workshop manual & all wiring diagrams here to make sure your Lariat has all the wiring in place up to the IPMA because that is not a given and would be the biggest barrier. I've already seen where Ford left out a single 12" Hill Descent Control wire from a harness on my Platinum 4WD when that wire was present on all trims regardless of FX4 on the previous generation so it is entirely possible you're missing the required wiring too even though you have a Lariat.

Can we enable digital temp readings on engine and transmission on 302A xlt trim with traditional speedometer and rpm gauges?

Has anyone looked into disabling the seatbelt minder for the rear seats? The driver/passenger code works like a charm.

Hello @Livnitup, do we have an option to disable fake engine sound in the 21 PB? I know it used to be a thing in the older trucks so I'm curious. I'm also curious if that quietens the cabin somewhat.
