You are almost exactly right about the reduction in range. Range dropped from 226 to 196 miles.This has to kill range. Why do this? I love leveled and lifted trucks. I currently drive a 2021 Ram with a 3.5 lift. But a lightning is about efficiency. It's more than just the unsprung added weight. You change the aero/drag with a lift. The knobbier tires are more drag. I'm going to bed 20% decrease in range.
I will caveat this and say it looks amazing!
Some people's expectations for the truck are different and don't require the additional range. It's all about preference. Let's see if we recoup any range with the bedcover. I am expecting maybe 2-3 miles.
