Tjin Edition F-150 Lightning Build at SEMA 2022

Tjin Edition built this custom F-150 Lightning that will be on display at the 2022 SEMA show.

It features dark green paint, 24-in wheels/tires, beefy brakes, air suspension, Recaro seats, and a host of accessories meant for adventure/camping - Thule tent, solar cargo box, awning and hitch bike rack holding two Super73 electric bikes.

They put rims, tires, air suspension, bike rack, roof top storage then said SEMA here we come... AWFUL. That's all the crap you can put on a ICE F150. They miss the boat on they should've of made it a sport truck and slammed it with a killer paint job not just green.

That things rad. Love the grill, the color, the height, even the rims (remind me of those older style touring Car rims). I wouldn't swap out the seats or do the roof rack, but I think it looks like a pretty badass ride.

Guess I'm in the minority for liking it. Just stoked people are making stuff for the Lightning variant.

All the supporting hardware for the air suspension. This whole truck is a DIWhy monstrosity and experiment in bad taste. None of what they added to it is helpful to the Lightning, nor beneficial to the EV platform and could all be put on an ICE truck. The only thing on it that I would even be remotely interested in is the upgraded brakes. But not these brakes, since they're not the kind needed here. So nothing at all.

Dang, you guys are brutal. It’s a SEMA show car so it doesn’t have to make absolute sense. Thinking about it, air suspension would be ideal if hidden a bit better. Lower suspension for better drag coefficient while traveling, then higher suspension for off-road. The Lightning at least has A/T tires.

Tjin brothers have done other F-150s, so don’t panic there either. Just be thankful the Lightning is being featured at all.
