Because large influential dealership groups complained to Ford about how it's not fair that a dealership who does right by their customers is getting rewarded with a huge allocation due to their ability to attract a large amount of reservations from across the country. Ford caved and started...
If Chevy was smart they'd be paying very close attention to how this went and not repeating Ford's mistakes, since clearly Ford doesn't know how to learn from their own.
I added this quote to the queue when it was two pages back from now so other people have already stated this but I'm gonna...
I've seen most reviews trend negative toward the B&O Unleashed. I'd watch some reviews and maybe hunt down an ICE with it to try out. From what I understand, the 18 speakers doesn't do much.
"Expecting an employee to put in the bare minimum effort of logging in to a website to provide information for a potential customer is the definition of 'entitlement'" is not the dunk you think it is.
But you do you, boo-boo.
Overall, the Chevy. There are things I like about the Lightning like the work surface and the double glove box. But the screen, physical HVAC controls, and lack of a stupid shifter wins bigly for me.
That's the part that always gets me. I'm shocked at how many people apparently drive more than 2 hours without a stretch, according to all the complaints about not being able to drive 600 miles in one shot.
Wow, I had some respect for Long McArthur since they've been putting out those helpful videos, but that's really disappointing to hear. At least they're up front about it. Still shameful, though.
I saw the Amazon thing but this is the first I heard of the COO. That doesn't bode well. I'm sure they're not completely doomed but it seems like they have a steep uphill battle.
Exactly this. Quite frankly, I'm tired of the eggplant measuring over EV performance. Yes, the first time I drove an EV (Mach-E test drive) it blew me away. But at the end of the day, I never cared about performance in my ICE vehicles and won't care about it in an EV, especially since even the...
What? A dealership would never do that! That'd be dishonest and shady and ruin the pristine reputation that car dealerships work tirelessly to uphold.
Heresay!
Dave Ramsey is not someone I'd look to for advice in general. And yes, we all know a vehicle is a terrible investment. No one expects a financial ROI from their new vehicle.
If you can afford it and you want it, no reason not to go after it just because you won't make money on it. There's more...
Agreed on the interior. I'm not married to a traditional shifter so the extra space gained is a plus for me.
One thing I really love is that Chevy didn't go for a stupid vertical tablet like more and more EVs are gaining. That plus physical HVAC buttons alone are major wins in my book.
